Oh thank goodness we are back!

I can't take much more of this - stealing our safe place! :(

Mam & Dad came over yesterday. I had a nap and they arrived just as I was waking up. Talk about good timing! I was glad as I could feel myself slipping and sliding back down that dark tunnel with noone to talk to and nowhere to go. So thankfully they showed up at just the right time.

I wasn't even really feeling up to holding a half decent conversation with them, so I did feel a bit rude, but they will probably never understand how much their company meant to me at that time.

Dad is only just beginning to understand the extent of my illness I think. He was even asking if I felt I would be able to return to work.
I have no choice in the matter, I must. I just need to pull myself together in order to do so.

    Hi guys

    been hanging in there but

Currently we are renting a house but the neighbour sent us a letter via the planning office saying they want to build an extension onto their property. This means yet more noise in the dayfrown.gif

We have been here nearly 6 months so our minimum rental time is near. We are wanting to extend till March which is fine by the landlord.

We were thinking of moving next year anyway but now feel that if I have to put up with yet more noisy building work next to me, I'll go nuts. Anyone who has read my past threads will know I have had a rough trot with horrible noisy neighbours. We can't object as we are tenants and doubt it would get blocked even if we were the owners.

I feel really scared now even tho' we want to move.

My OH has a steady permanent job but his female boss, who is the same age as him treats him and other co-workers like a child.. He gets on with his male boss who is this woman's husband. It is only a small company but she acts like a bad boss in a large company. The pay is half what he was on as a contractor but he is 56 in January so worry his age is against him even tho he is really good at his job. He has found out that there was a high turnover of staff due to this woman's attitude and talking to her husband does nothing.

He talks about going into business but lacks confidence. Our parents keep saying to us play it safe so don't help us feel confident either.

Our son, another subject entirely, has left home, still rather stupid with his money and thinking about dropping out of uni for a year. He is 20 in February, and now feel he is old enough to make his own errors.

Is anyone else feeling they have to make up their mind about their lives and feeling worried?

I feel I am going to lose my mind just now

My OH has been doing my head in - Sunday he was an a/hole and has been annoying today. When I talk to him about it, he starts crying and trying to make me feel guilty or the one at fault. When I do anything nice for him, he starts being annoying. Nothing flows, everything has to be hard work and difficult.

I don't know how much more I can take. I am looking for a place to go but don't know where to go. I don't know who I am anymore, when I do feel OK, he manages to taint it and I feel a mess again.

I certainly don't want to be near or with my mother as she is a control freak. She drove me mad when I was a teenager which lead to me marrying my OH. I remember nearly taking an overdose at 18 when I realised he was bad for me but I didn't have any money and didn't want to go back home.

I find it hard to trust people, so called friends have let me down.
