Hi all---can't stay long cuz it's shopping wiv muvva day today. It sounds really bad, but we can take all day just walking round the supermarket:eek: Mind you, that's usually when we go further afield, cuz our nearest Asda is a 50 min car ride both ways, so we stop for lunch too.
Had a thought about those of you who are lucky enough to use essential oils[they make me sneeze:o ]
if they help you to relax, could you have a hankie in your pocket with a little lavendar or whatever, sprinkled onto it when you go out? Then you have something 'solid' to focus on should the red mist rise......I felt the same way about my inhaler & because I knew I didn't have it with me,I would begin to lose control of my breathing. Now tho, I can't remember the last time I used it----scurries off to dig in handbag & check dates!
OMG Rosie..how you feeling now? Sounds similar to the little bug err I'm trying to offload.. hope I haven't spread it thru the computer:D virus....computer.....geddit:cool: wind whistling & tumble-weed.....tumbling_pale_  ahem, looking down as I draw a circle in the sand with my toe
I too, would like to post a pic of the p-u-p ILGD, but don't know where to start either. Methinks a camera might help:rotfl:
:j John.....so pleased for you pal! It's about time us little fish started making their presence known in the Pool of Life & giving those sharks what for! Not sure about your taste in footie teams tho:D Being dan sowf, we've got the Saints, Seagulls & Pompey to choose from:p
:hello: to the Newbies & as Tulip says, we all have things to share that will help others. I'm always on the lookout for ways to improve my moods, particularly if they don't involve bananas & a route march before breakfast:shocked: This advice came from a supposed health care professional, but even their colleagues laughed!
Dawny- don't be so hard on yourself! OK you've had to get up for a valid reason, but if you were suffering from pneumonia[?]would you still think you're not supposed to sleep when you ARE tired? I get days when I can just move from one task to another without a moment's hesitation, but they are very few & far between. Usually it is a battle for me to even get dressed in the day, but I've realised that it is the ILLNESS that makes me like it. Yes, it  me off no end, & I want every day to be a 'normal' day, but it will only happen when my body says it will. HTH:o
Are you breathing again Miro?We do worry about things we cannot possibly have any idea about don't we? 'What if' & 'Who will' should be banned from our vocabularies! Glad it went ok tho;)
OK guys, gotta go. Let's be careful out there!

I woke up feeling a little on edge today, not sure why as i got the day off. I got uo, took dog for a walk had some breakfast and then about 9ish i went back to bed. I just been woken up by my boss ringing me. I feel better now, but the sunshine has gone away and it looks cloudy so im still in bed typing this. Nearly the weekend though and i dont work those, so that something to look forward to.

Hi everyone
Maisy-Mai - I hope you feel better soon hun, don't really have any advice but i'm sending you some hugs :grouphug:
Dawnylou - don't beat yourself up hun, if you don't feel up to cleaning out your wardrobe or visiting your MIL then don't worry about it, do whatever you feel happy doing.
I still didn't sleep much again last night, although I found this song that had waves in the background and that was quite soothing so I listened to that about 10 times :rotfl:I managed to eat some breakfast so I don't feel as sick as I have been. I'm a bit nervous about my counselling tonight, just because of how upset I get but I know it'll do me some good and she's so lovely. I've got my meeting at work tomorrow which I am absolutely dreading, i've asked a family friend who works there to come in with me so i'm not on my own. I'm just worried that because they can fire me anytime they want they might try and put pressure on me to go back too soon and then i'll just end up feeling worse. I tried ringing CAB to get some advice on benefits and stuff but they're phone line is closed, their office is right next door to where I go for counselling so I will go and see if they are open later.
Anyway I hope everybody has a good day and the rain (if it's raining near you, it's horrid here) doesn't get you down. Big hugs

Hi H,
As long as you have a current sick note from doctor, they cant sack you. Im sure of this as when i walked out of work 5 yrs ago, i gave them a sick note and was off work for 2 months and then i gave my resignation to them and i was still off sick whilst my 2 weeks notice went through, so i didnt get the sack ( m sure they would have done if i gave then the chance). I think there is somewhere on here that you can ask about the law concerning sick notes, if you are not sure about it.
Hope that s been of some help to you.

Hi H
I thought that too, but they can sack me, I rang ACAS to check, if i'd been there over a year I could claim unfair dismissal but I can't do anything. I'm just hoping because they're a big company, they wont fire somebody suffering from depression just because they can't get better to their timeframe, it's not even as though they're paying me so I think they should just leave me alone until I get better.
Thanks hun x:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy
