Hi guys! :hello:
I hope everyone is well and safe and sound.
Sorry for the lack of tiffing over the last couple of days and indeed, all has not been great at Tiff Towers. Thanks for asking after the Tiffster and sorry for worrying you. You know something's going on if Tiff hasn't checked in- & it's not always my fault either!
As always, I was thinking of you all. Anyway, I'm here now - serves you right too!
I thought even I could 'pull' for Halloween (purrfect Tiff camouflage time!), but alas, no luck.
So the search for Mr.Tiff continues. And then, of course, there was the arrival of the fireworks!
So Tiffy advises you all to take precautions because of the fireworks starting - that will now be going off everywhere until mid-January!
Andto all our new clan members...

I know the lovely peeps here will have made you all feel right at home.
Take note peeps - I'll be doing roll call this week, so either be present or send one!I'd better get on reading and replying then - sazzy'll be up by 1pm!
Be kind to yourselves guys.
Much Love,

Hello all. Not ventured into this thread before but thought I would say hello, pass on some good vibes na siwsh everyone well.
I've had panic attacks/anxiety for 15 years  but they are much better and I have always tried to work with and around them so I set up my own work which is home based largely, grown in confidence and get to do lots of fab things with my job now and am much more out going.
A blip at the start of 07 was depression - never had it before and had a bout after being ill for almsot three months and my body getting seriously run down. It confirmed to me that depression is a different ball game to being p'd off or blue! Working on the principal everything happens for a reason I try to think it has helped my creative writing side and human side, experiencing depression first hand but thanks all the same, don't want a repeat bout :rotfl:
Best wishes all :A =quote
I totally agree that there's a huge difference between being tiffed-off and being depressed. With mental ill health, it's important to get professional help and support as soon as you can. Waiting, for whatever reason, is just delaying your recovery. That's the trouble with mental ill health - you can try and find all the logic and reason you want, but that doesn't mean that it's a 'cure'. Imho, sometimes we can tie ourselves in knots trying to make sense of it all - find ''The Cure'' and end up getting really stressed, which just makes the whole thing an even bigger mountain to climb.
I don't think anyone likes having mental ill health as a lodger hun!:rotfl:
Thanks for the positive vibes angel and good luck - right back at you!
Much Love,

Tulip was up late last night! Were you looking at the books deciding where to take your holidays? I'll come with you & carry your cases..:cool2:..& write all the postcards for the folks back home...I'm really very good company, & don't mind where we go:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Got to tell you that Josh has gone to India, & Harry has to get rid of either Tess or Charlie next weekWhy are people leaving Holby at such a rate....
I'm sending ((HUGS)) to you for today Miro....Grandpa must be proud of you, particularly the values you are trying to maintain in your life. I look around at the offspring's 'friends' & dispair of good moral standards surviving till the end of this decade! One in particular has sired 2, possibly three children before the age of 23 & doesn't live with any of them.
I gotta go for now, & I'll try to catch up with you all later.

Hi :hello:, hope everyone is having a good weekend
Welcome newbiesi'm still a newbie myself and everyone has been really great and supportive so don't be afraid to post - it took me a while to get up the courage to post but i'm so glad I did.
Well done Tulip on your win :T:T
In some respects i've been lucky with my GP, he referred me to a counsellor straight away and I had my first session last Tuesday and it went really well, she's really nice. And he's now put me on citalopram, only been on it two days so not sure how it will affect me, hope I don't get any nasty side effects.
Speaking of smarties, the orange ones are definitely the best, the others taste the same
I've been ill for a few days now, started as a cold and now it's like a weird tummy bug, whatever is it I just feel awful and it's making me really weepy, even more so than usual.
Anyway I think i'm going to try and get some sleep because I had about two hours last night. Hope everybody has a nice day:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy

Don't put chilli in them Hayley:eek:  And what is Australian crunch....probably very fattening but who gives a calorie! You can't post scrummy alternatives & not give a recipe;)
Must be something in the air, cuz I've spent a couple of enjoyable hours on the beach with the p-u-p. It felt good being close to nature, & seeing p-o-o-c-h chasing the seagulls made me realise all over again, why the very best things in Life are free & there for the taking.:o
OK I'm going----I hate it when I start getting all silly-fossical!

We have just got home as we went out for lunch today.
By time we drove to the pub we were meeting his parents and sister at I felt quite ill, but it was really busy and there was a 40 minute wait for food so the sickness had worn off enough for me to thoroughly enjoy my braised steak in red wine.
Yummy!
I am so stuffed!!
Didn't get as ill in the car on way home as I had a quick nap instead
Tiff I am so glad to see you popped on earlier - I feel better now knowing that you are still around, I hope you are ok xxx
Hayley I was really ill on this, but everyone reacts to meds differently so they could prove to be a godsend to you although they weren't for me.
I hope so. Noone deserves to go through what we have been through and so it would be great if those little pills would end it for you
Fantastico - that really made me giggle!!!
Feelinggood - I am sure I saw somewhere you were leaving for little while?? I hope you are ok. If things get too bad for you please, please make sure there is someone there for you - if not at home please check in. Even if just to rant. Or you could PM one of us...
The last thing I want is to think that you may be feeling alone in the world with nowhere to turn as exactly the opposite is true.
Hope everyone is having a nice day todayx
