Girls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.

I would rather drown with you than watch the surf with someone else

Hi all I'm new to this forum but I'd like to chat with you if no one minds. Its just tonight occurred to me that I'm suffering from depression again. I've been kidding myself for a long while but I'm having to face up to it. Don't really know what else to add at the moment other than I guess I have to see the doctor, which I really don't want to do. Does anyone else find their doctor is completely unhelpful when it comes to depression?

Sorry I'm probably talking rubbish now but I'm good at that.

    Welcome meyore

GP's tend to be pretty hopeless when it comes to depression, but i'm told there are good ones. My GP surgery tend to treat everything I have ever had wrong with me as depression caused :o

Those of you that remember when I was seeing 'S' last year...i've just had a nasty shock.

I didn't want to mention it to anyone on here, as I didn't want to fail and look stupid.

On Wednesday, I have a 'meeting' with an organisation, on doing some work for 6 weeks on a work placement - it's around 8-16 hours per week, starting at 8, increasing to 16 by the 6th week I believe. It's just to give me a taste of work in a field I have shown interest in. It's not definate I will work there, but a meeting to look into it and the organisation have agreed to meet me and my work advisor.

Anyway, I was told where it was and it was along the same road as where 'S' used to live.

I checked my phone for messages tonight and I have one......it's the exact same place that 'S' lived (or maybe still lives). I hope 'lived' and my nevousness has now increased to severe anxiety.

Of all the places in the whole world.....typical :o

Thats exactly the problem I have with them-its 5 years since I last suffered from depression and they still link everything to it. I'm sure if my leg dropped off it would be because I was depressed...
Trouble is I am now and its not going to be pleasant visiting the doctor and getting referred back to the useless "counsellor" and pumped full of drugs.
