ilovegreatdanes, I agree with some user names it's hard to tell if they are male or female.
Tulip, How is your ankle today? I'm glad to hear that you had a good time at your parents. Can you see the sea from your house?-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

westclok - if they do retract their offer you should seek legal advice it could constitute discrimination. Go to your citizens advice bureau, they should be able to refer you to a free law centre or a solicitor who will offer a free consultation.
katp!
I hope you'll join us and introduce yourself - the folks here are great!:T :A
That's an interesting point hun.
However, I don't think in this situation that would apply if westie's health may affect her safety, or that of others, if she was doing certain jobs.
They have reviewed westie's application after she told them of health issues and offered her a different position. If they have a reasonable and valid reason for doing that, as I said above, then it's not discrimination, imho.
This was not a confirmed employment as no contracts had been signed and she wasn't working for the company yet. Westclok did the right thing in being honest about her issues and that information was obviously thought to be relevant.
I'm not a professional or an expert hun, so these are just Tiff thoughts, if any of them made sense.
Hoping you'll have a great week hun.
Much Love,

Hi flissy!:hello:
Good to hear from you angel!;)
quote=flis21;
Hi Everyone,
Sorry I have been away for so long. My thing says my last visit was 24th May!! Anyway, a lot has been happening. We had a really nice 2 week holiday in Turkey, got a lovely tan.
You got Turkey - I got Harrogate.
My morning sickness stopped at the end of the first week there, which was a bonus!
Mine stopped the day I calved!:rotfl:
Then got back, went to work for 4 days and started feeling really rough, got slowly worse. Then doctor got me admitted to hospital with dehydration and possible appendicitus. Anyway, an operation would be danagerous for the baby, so they just kept me in for a few days, then decided it wasn't appendicitus and sent me home. Felt ok for a couple of days, then worse again. So got admitted to hospital again, only in for 2 days then. They basically decided that as they didn't know what was wrong with me they would just send me home!! Back to see my GP again, who was really lovely. He thinks it is some sort of internal infection, possible kidney or intestine. Anyway he has put me on antibiotics and we are just seeing how it goes. I am still on bed rest (but have got DH to sort me out his laptop in the bedroom so I can come back on here!).
You've really been through the mill haven't you angel?!:o
DH is doing a good job looking after you, bless him. I hope that by now, your feeling better hun.;)
I am really amazed that my depression seems to be staying at bay. With all the stress (worrying about whether I was going to lose the baby and what effect this is having on him or her) and having days on end when I couldn't keep my medication down, I am remaining quite positive.
You go girl!:j :T
You're doing well after dealing with all that sweetie.:A
I see there are lots of new faces, hi to all. It is amazing how many new people we seem to have picked up in the last few weeks, can't wait to get to know you all.

I don't know where everyone came from all of a sudden.Maybe they were lurkers or new to MSE? Either way, they are more than welcome here. They seem like a very nice group of people and they are already feeling the magic of this board and are starting to help each other out too.:T
Right you put your feet - and everything else - up young lady and follow the drs orders. I'm crossing my claws for you and wishing you well sweetheart. Take care.
Much Love,

Do you guys find seeing a counsellor helps?
I was going to query seeing one, but thought it would just be too awkward?!?dawnylou!
I'm sure you've already had all the advice you need hun from the angels on here. I hope you'll find the board useful.;)
As with everything angel, it's a case by case basis.
Some people benefit from seeing a counsellor, usually attached to a gp's surgery and referred by the gp, for a few short weeks.
Others find further and deeper counselling support and therapy with a psychologist/psychiatrist more helpful, over a longer period of time. All this is confidential.
Your gp can refer you hun. The best idea is to ask the gp for their opinion dawnylou. At least then, you'll know what help is available to you relevant to your issues.
And don't feel awkward hun - they'll have seen it all before.;)
I hope this was of some help angel.
Much Love,
