hi all,
just been out with the dane, on my own.only taken him out once before and he went for a little dog, and he pulled me so fast.ihad to let go, and it was ike in the films where you think, im gonna crash so which bit should i land on for the least injury?anyway, landed with shoulder up against the kerb.hurt my shoulder, elbow and big toe....and my dignity, as there were about 6 stood round.
told dh, who just laughed(cos hes such a great support to me!!!)and he said it was my fault, cos of my inappropriate footwear,although he didnt see the 15 stone hound from hell with a dual personality disorder as a problem at all.
had to go to casualty next day.xrayed and had sprained my elbow and shoulder,broke my toe and graised my arm and leg....but the dog was fine, you will be pleased to hear!!!
so i said i wouldnt take him again, cos he cant stand little dogs since one went for him and since then hes got very sly, and likes to get the first in.
anyway, i digress...
took him and saw two dogs altogether.he wasnt too happy but he was fine.all in all, i enjoyed it and will start taking him regularly if i can.
anyone heard from rbk??havent heard for ages so hope they are ok.
rose...hope you are doing ok too.x

hi,
took the dane again earlier!!!been well behaved again!!!hope hes not lolling me into a false sense of security!!!
is raining here in souf yorks but still not as cold as yesday.
since my recent experiences i have decided i really must try to see the positive in every experience, even the cr*p ones if i can, and not dwell on stuff, cos thats where im going wrong, i think.have to deal with stuff as it happens and might be better.
im on way back up ,but sometimes thats as worrying, when you are in a good mood, cos then you think,whats the low point goin to be if i feel so chipper, iykwim.
