Yeah I agree it probably is a bit too soon but my sick note from hospital will only cover me up to and including today.

I am going to see my social worker on Monday and I'm sure she will arrange further appointments.

My psychiatrist has insisted on inviting my parents to a meeting. I didn't want that to happen but I didn't have a choice.

To keep on going when you feel so down you dont want to be here any more to carry on for your childs sake but you then find they are ina tormented state? My son has had various problems n the past,only 18 but worrying non stop when he should be having fun. He came home from work yesterday and said he was really tired so was going to sleep at nine. Just found out he was up till four and had drunk a whole large bottle of vodka. Could cope with my probs as long as he was happy but think he has a tortured mind - how do you find the stength to carry on as right now i just dont want to be here and if it wasnt for my son i wouldnt be.

Thanks for your reply, know you have problems of your own so its good of you to care. Just feeling down right now as just found the empty vodka bottle. My son has inherited the hearing loss i have which makes me feel bad but now seems he may have the mental health problems from me too. Dont have any support just keep struggling by each day as best i can. Can cope with being depressed myself but cant bear the thought of my son being so unhappy.

Sorry you feel so low and down in the dumps,personally I think its the weather when it is wet as its so depressing isnt it and its bound to make anyone feel low.I always feel low when its wet and miserable
