Me, my OH and our LO usually eat the same food. Except on Tuesday when me and LO had fish fingers and she got home later and had toast.

We both now have a cough and cold - must have been the fish fingers.

Tesco shouldn't have been selling this item so far after the BBE date.

I imagine Tescos personal policy is not to sell past BBE, (it was when I worked in a different supermarket) so despite it being legal I no doubt you'll get a refund and a few pound in vouchers.

However I doubt it made your daughter sick :)

I'll go one further lol! I have no doubt it wasn't the jelly that made her daughter sick.

I had stuff months and months out of date from TESCO. I knew as soon as I took a mouthful.

I'm not dead, nor did I get food poisoning.

Maybe it was too much sugary jelly that made her sick ;)

You knew it was out of date after a mouthful. So either you ate it anyway, in which case you're an idiot, or you didn't eat any more, in which case it's not exactly relevant.

Why do you like to try and personally attack me TR? I hope you aren't suggesting i'm an idiot.

    That would upset me.

How is it not relevant? I don't think a "bacterial toxin" to quote the op is going to distinguish between one mouthful and a little jelly pot is it?

Could've been catastrophic. Luckily I'm here to still annoy people.

I recently didn't eat some food that was off. I also didn't get food poisoning from not eating it.

Or are you trying to compare two completely different foods eaten by two completely different people; one of whom is three years old and the other (presumably) an adult?

How do you know I didn't give one of these items to my child, I did actually, but thought it really didn't need anymore dramatics in this thread. My child is ok as well.

Its still winter bug season BTW op, loads going around!
