    - will you actually use the Radley bag as your everday bag, or keep it for best? I was looking at some but I know if I bought one, it would probably gather dust in the cupboard, waiting for the right time to use it! My everyday bag is years old, but so familiar, with a place for everything - if only Radley made one like it. :rotfl:

Have been out shopping and come back home to find that DD has gone over to her BF's and taken her bag with her to show him, WHY? He's a bloke - a Radley will be lost on him! So I won't see her until tomorrow now  and I told her I wanted a pic of the two Radleys together - so sorry! beanie! (I'll beat her up as soon as she walks through the door - that'll teach her :rotfl: ) you'll just have to wait :D Anyway I've named my little dog Boo for the obvious two reasons :o (originality has never been my strong point). I've got him :happyhearnext to me as I type this :rotfl: .

Lois They supply you with a storage bag to keep them in so they won't get dusty, and at those prices I should darn well think so! For that reason I shall be using it when I go out tomorrow, unless it's raining, if I wait for the right time it'd never get used.

...Brighton belle I like the sound of that Moroccan stew, I think that cinnamon in these types of stews is wonderful, at one time I only ever used to use it in cakes and such, although I'd have omit the apricots as I can't stomach fruit with meat 54jscoj.gif I'm a recent convert to fresh coriander, yesterday I made a lentil stew with fresh ginger and spices, it was a recipe that I'd been wanting to try for some time now and I'd had the lentils in the cupboard for ages, and it suggested to sprinkle some of it, finely chopped, on top and it really set it off. Previously the taste was too medicinal to me, but I shall definitely use more now. This stew was very nice too and low calorie, so I'll type it up later and post it on the recipe thread. I suggest you post yours there too BB :T ...

WOW!! Thanks for showing me what SW can do AJAX. Thats a fantastic achievement!

you could always try entering the data like 14.1, 13, 13.13 to get the stones and pounds. Also if you like to see where your target is on the graph (if you're using the scatter graph option) enter your target weight and the date and then on the graph you just click twice on the scatter point and you can change its individual colour...

    like....

    Date weight
    jan 14.13
    feb
    march
    may
    june 12.8 (target)

...sorry to be thick but.... it wouldn't work with that would it? Entering, say, 14.13 would place a point between 14.1 and 14.2 ?

I may have to chat up efrieze for a copy of the one she sent to petrichor ... far too complicated for a simpleton like me. :D

Original recipe had tofu in it. We always have this with lamb, but could be served with lamb style quorn or quorn pieces, just point up accordingly. I also used to serve with cous cous but I cut that out since starting on SW. As I became familiar with recipe I was less fussed about sticking to veg quantities – I chuck in more as it is free and fills me up. Remember to add more of the spices & stock etc if you do this to keep strength of flavour. I cook enough to freeze 2 portions as a ‘ready meal’.

.......couscous used like this is free on green SW though? Why not use it if you can? Or is it that you are just having this stew on an original day?

Of course Ajax, I wasn't thinking. It's because I particularly enjoy it with lamb, in my head it is therefore an original day choice. But yes, on a green day, the cous cous is free and goes very well.

Petrichor: have now added recipe to recipe thread.

Looking forward to trying the quorn 'lamb style' stew next week once I've done my next fortnights Sainsbry shop.

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

well i am joining this thread :)
been on a diet for a whole 4 days now.
i go away on the 28th and desperatly want to loose some weight before i bare my bod on the beach. I need to loose 29lb..i know i won't lose anywhere close but i am being really strict with myself and 21m after my daughter was born i finaly have the motivation to do this :)
really need to up my exercise but with the kids home its tough, so i am aiming for maybe a good long walk everyday as well as my stepper thing, rowingmachine , tummy crunching and stretching..
i dont like exercising though lol, an hour at the pc seems more relaxing :).

my aim...work my butt off and shift about 14lb..which i know i can do if i am very strict with myself.

You're up nice and early again ajax :j I remembered what I meant to say yesterday, re SW and WW I think they are fine when you need to lose a lot of weight, but not so good if you only need to lose a stone or so and by looking at your photos I would think that that is why you've 'maintained' for such a while although I'm not sure if you meant that in that way, because you did lose the weight you gained after your marriage during this time (if you know what I mean :o ) I found that WW was very slow and that's why I calorie counted, also your points soon disappeared  Anyway, as I said yesterday, a change and all that, I hope it goes well for you and MrsA :j ...

... Welcome katepnlo For someone who doesn't like exercise you seem to be giving it your all :T so good luck :j You have 2 weeks and this is plenty of time to make a good bit of difference ready for your hols :D Do please stay with us...

...Beanie Boo was impeccably behaved overnight (as you'd expect:rolleyes2 ) I shall be taking him on his first outing today. I bought them from Hudsons, so much easier than in the stores especially as I knew the quality etc The photos will be done later when DD gets home ...
