I managed another SFD yesterday, I never left the house which helps.
My coffee cake was a huge success and is literally huge, 4 layers of cake with coffee buttercream between.
Everyone is back to work and school here today, I am about to start work myself any minute. Will break off for lunch and to make a curry for tea then more work and a long dog walk before the school run.
Grocery shopping tonight, not having it delivered today but am going to Mr T's to get the £5 voucher for next week.
Hope the sun is shining where you are today, gorgeous here.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I will be still taking full control of the family finances and he can deal with his own. for that reason I am changing my signature to the debt I have.
I am glad you are doing this. No one can be forced into their LBM. It will come with time however is he contributing to the family finances or is this left solely down to you now..?
You are allowed to rant, that's what we are here for. This is entirely frustrating and I can see why you are so wound up - but you are right to look after you first. He will catch up at some point, no point busting your gut though pulling him by the reins..
Hugs to you honey - you seem to be going through the mill with OH and his spending!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Just paid for my yellow fever vaccination hence the depletion of travel funds... And a non-SFD.“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Good morning everyone!
I have had a great weekend with a lovely night away over the weekend. My besties treated me to a gorgeous Italian meal on Saturday night which was super yummy and I loved it.
I was paid for by besties and husband so I actually only spend £1 which was my contribution to the parking fee on Sunday.
I am feeling great today and although I have absolutely no money in my account! Everything has been paid for to date and hopefully me freelance invoices will be paid before the next bills are due out.October make £10/day currently £11.020 -
Morning all,
Finally starting to feel back to myself after illness last week but have so much to do to catch up around the house. My numbers seem to be working against me at this stage in the game (maybe I am still wanting to be the hare and trying to pay off more than I can). I have quite a bit listed on my local facebay page which I am hoping will both help with the figures and the de-cluttering. Actually did quite a bit of de-cluttering in the kitchen last week before I read the challenge so my de-cluttering may be less focused in this room and more spread about the house.
MrsGSXR I completely sympathise, my DH is also trailing behind me on the LBM front I think. He moaned at me at the weekend that his lunches are "less exotic" than they used t be now I am "so obsessed with saving money". I won't repeat my reply here but cheeky !!!!!!!!!! he has gone to work today with home made leak and potato soup and home made brownies among other things. Last week I found he had an unpaid Next account totaling over £100 and a CC bill for £40 for some kind of on-line gaming membership both of which I knew nothing about after having several discussions about exactly what we owed, earned, needed to budget for various things over the past two months (which is why my number now won't dd up!!)
Anyway onwards and upwards managed my first NSD yesterday and ran to my parents where we were all fed a lovely lunch so only needed a light teaI have made a serious dent in my food budget already (which I am really hoping I can come in under on) but I hope I have all the main bits for the month, may need some meat towards the very end of the month but should otherwise just be top ups on milk, veg and lunch box stuff.
Right best get on as have to pick up DS2 from pre-school in 25 mins and need to do a few bits first. have a good Monday all!!Debt as at January 2014 £13,546.84Current £11,485.15 - 15.42% paid - moving in the right directionDebt free date [STRIKE]Jan 2016 Dec 2015[/STRIKE] Nov 2015MMH 35 - SFD 8/15 FB 266.46/240 T-O 0/0 donation 3/£3 LTW 8/10 exercise 12/12 neighbour favour? Thanks Kat:)
He is the main breadwinner so pays in a large amount of his wage into our joint account, I earn £500 a month and he is near on £3k :eek:He doesn't touch that account now, I deal with it all as well as mine. He deals (or doesn't as the case may be) with his.
He wonders how I have managed to pay off so much of my debt AND still managed to afford to do stuff despite earning little. One day he will understand I'm sure.

Hello all!
Please can you sign me up Kat? Even though I am late . . .
First weekend of March was an expensive one, although planned to be so. I have done my debt payments for the month (£135) although I also have some freelance work that I will be invoicing tonight so hopefully that will be paid promptly and will be going all on debt (minus what I will owe to the tax man)
I am going to pledge for 20SFDs this month. Hopefully will be more than that, but we will see. particularly as the total so far stands at zeroTotal debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -

Sounds very frustrating ikesmummy! I too send my to work with homemade rolls and cakes and he either forgets to take it or forgets to eat it or says he would prefer a pasti  I get the "oh I feel like will scrimp and save all the time" er not really!
Mine hid a credit card from me, he said he was paying off one but then said he "forgot" about the other one. To be fair he has set a DFD AND he has them on 0% but the point is I don't think he "gets" it.
Hopefully they will both face up to it soon.Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -
Hi Everyone. I feel absolutley terrible and lethargic this morning. I think I need some Iron, so will be cooking plenty of greens! I may also have to go and get some solgar vits-as these usually do the trick when I'm run down. I've booked 2 days off from tomorrow, as I truly feel awful, but not actually ill.
Hugs to everyone battling with over spending OH's. I feel your pain. The kids are not exactly equating that we must cut back-unless it's something I want  But other than than, the lights and tv's are left on randomly when people are out  Sometimes it's like the Las Vegas strip, the amount of electricity being generated! Our food has also become less 'exotic' according to DS. I told him, maybe when he starts paying his way, he'll find palm trees in his dinner! Until then, keep quiet
Well yesterday, I did spend. I'm decluttering and sorting out my room. I need a mirror in there and got one from Argoos as well as a lamp. I spent £26 and have approx £40 for the rest of the month  Everything is paid for, so right now, I'm thankful for my lack of social life :rotfl:
Kat, I had to laugh regarding your yellow fever vac. Last week, a work collegue, was trying to get an appointment for this and ended up going half way across London for it, as apparently there is a national shortage, only to be told when she got there 'oh you don't actually need it for Gambia! She was annoyed of the journey be glad to save the money
Have a great day everyone and keep going :T:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0
