Hope all is good with you otherwise.
I think we should both commit to 1 small change a week for our health as this is something i *have* to do also. This week i am going to get back into drinking 2 litres of water a day - that will be my changeI love water so this is easy for me in some ways - so why don't i do it? I did it for a month once but then let it fall by the wayside.
Glad jwil has popped along with some advice for selling
Hi Dedicated!
Well, I'm glad I'm not alone...as they say, misery loves company!Alas, a fair bit of it has been of my own fault, so I think the health change I need to make is getting to bed at a decent time. I am literally *appalling* at this as my body clock was set to 'late' when I was born, so I go to bed incredibly late, but I can't keep this up as I need to stay awake in work so I have to reset it somehow. It sucks.
Right, must go. Have had a lazy day and am going out with some friends. xxxDebt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Hello everyone!
Well, it has been a while. I have been settling into my new job (going well so far) and I've had even more problems with my laptop, which has been fun, but I managed to sort them out eventually myself. *Puffs out chest proudly*
So, I was just paid (strange time of the month) and the plans I was planning on having in place for when the money hit the account are not there. I need to make them. I'm not going on any mad spending sprees at the moment until I've made the plans, but I still need to open an ISA for this year and then sort out savings (i.e. savings and unmade debt repayments).
It's Sunday. I am mahoosively disorganised and need to get a grip of life, do the housework/food shop etc. then figure out where I am going from here.
No pressure, then!
Today's spends:

I hope you are all well. I'm trying not to spend too much time on the internet (that's not going well!) as I have realised that it's a massive drain on my time, but I need to keep myself accountable and post here more. Prod/kick me if I don't, please.

Hi everyone!
Well my lpatop is dead - again - and in for repair - again - hence the scarcity of my posts.
This scarcity has absolutely nothing to do with the obscene amount of concert tickets I have splurged on since I got paid, or the beautiful shiny thing I spent an obscene amount of money on. At all. There has been no binge purchasing of lovely things after the drought.
I'm going to rightly cop some grief over this. Then I need to get my head down and start acting like a responsible adult who has only just skirted financial disaster by the skin of her teeth.

Two tickets - solo alas - to my favourite solo artists. Had to literally get ones on my own else I wouldn't have got any at all. I'm beaming!
Laptop under guarantee but this is the second big breakdown. Nuts

Also intrigued by shiny things
Yay to concert tickets too.
Grr to annoying laptops though."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hello everyone.
Well, it has been a while.
And eventful, but not in a good way.
I've been fired from my new, supposedly *amazing* job. Unfairly, as well, but since I was in my probation period there is little I can do about it.
I guess that's why I have been so quiet. I have also been majorly miffed about spending my emergency fund. Lesson learned there, I think.
I will be back later. Some strange but positive things have been happening and I need to find a way to deal positively with my finances as well.
Take care one and all. I'm off back to the Glasto highlights.Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Hey pb,
Sorry to hear about the job, but hope that the 'strange' things are very positive and that things work out for the best (even if they may not feel like it at the time).
Sending good vibes xDebt remaining:
