Glad job is going well. What's that old Chinese curse - 'may you live in interesting times' :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Hey PB - job sounds very exciting :T
You are busy now, maybe schedule in time at the weekend to sort out the electrickery and a night / lunchtime in the week for the council tax as i assume they may not be open at the weekend?

That's exactly what I need to do...but first I need to get my mobile sorted! (It never rains but it pours!)
So, NSD today, although if money were calories consumed in chocolate, I would be very rich indeed.   I really, really need to sort my diet and and make my health a priority. I've heard stories of a few people only about 10 years older than me getting suffering from terrible health issues this week and if I keep on at this rate, I will be next. (Shamefully, I have frozen pizza cooking in the oven for dinner as I type this.)
Anyway, I had better dash. Anyone know where the link to the SoA has disappeared to?!
P.S. Find out what time I went to bed at tonight, please, and if it's after 10 pm (10.30 at the latest), shoot me!Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

What time did you go to bed???
Congrats on the new job!
I do indeedy pay for one listing each time. I have lots to list though.
If you don't have a lot, then the new 20 free listings each month will probably be of use to you from the middle of this month. They are still doing the free listing weekends supposedly, but no more free 99p listings."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hi jwil! :wave:What time did you go to bed???
Late! But not as late as I have been going. Came in this evening and fell asleep for two hours. Have just eaten and am just about to go back now, via a bit of admin. Can't remember being this cream crackered in my life!Congrats on the new job!
Thanks! My job title is actually really boring, but what they have asked me to do is anything but. This is going to be interesting. I hope the 'interesting' lasts.

I may try the staggered timing thing. I think this might be the best/cheapest approach for me, although this 20 free listings thing might be no harm, either. I guess the sheer number of 99p listings was very attractive, but it did entice us to list things at a very low price. For a mid-level seller such as myself, this could turn out to be better for me as I can advertise things at a better price.
I hope you and Master Jwil are well. I'll pop over to your thread soon-ish, although at the rate I'm going, I'm too pooped to leave my virtual sofa, so I might see you at the weekend! :rotfl:Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

Congratulations on the new job PositiveBalance! That's brilliant news!
Well done on getting rid of your language books too!
Sorry I haven't been over for a whilereal life has been getting in the way. :rotfl:
These new listings may be good for me as it will make me think more about what I'm selling and, for some of the cheaper stuff I have to get rid of, I might group things together-it will get rid of more quicker -that's the plan.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Hi all,
Another NSD here in PB towers. I'm off to bed. Cream crackered doesn't even begin to cover it.

Hope you had some rest and feel a bit more energetic soon
The new free listings will be fine for me when I've cleared, I just wish they'd waited a little longer :rotfl:"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hey PB, I am just checking in to see how you are - and from reading your posts i am judging you are possibly as tired as i am - my 2nd night this week without sleep
Hope all is good with you otherwise.
I think we should both commit to 1 small change a week for our health as this is something i *have* to do also. This week i am going to get back into drinking 2 litres of water a day - that will be my changeI love water so this is easy for me in some ways - so why don't i do it? I did it for a month once but then let it fall by the wayside.
