Well, like a few other people, my productivity has taken a downward trend in the past couple of days - my To Do List looks suspiciously like the To Do list of two days ago.
Anyway, the good news is - my two items on ebay have sold. :j In truth, I got marginally more for them than I paid in the first place but by the time one deducts all the fees and postage, profit is somewhat reduced. Still, I'm glad to have sold them and it's given me the impetus to do a bit more listing. Am about 65% certain I'll list something else tomorrow.0 -

Ha ha, I think the 31 items is unlikely at this stage, DDFW. :rotfl:
However, I may repeat that challenge in April and actually try to do it this time.
Well done on finding something else to list - I should be ashamed really because there is tons of stuff here to list and I don't do it.
Still I've parcelled my recent sales, now all ready to go and I can feel a new enthusiasm coming on.0 -
The ebay parcels are winging their way to the buyers and the money is already in my bank account. Pay day tomorrow - boy I am glad to see it arrive. :j
Am busy looking after my new seedlings - the tomatoes are doing well but the sweet peas are a bit of disappointment. One packet failed to germinate at all - none of them - which is deeply unimpressive. I shall try to find the receipt and ask for my money back. I will have to buy some little plug plants instead I reckon. Lots more seeds to sow this weekend and I need to pot on some of the tomatoes.
More fence painting this weekend as well - it is set fair and it needs to be done. Can't say I'm looking forward to it though. :cool:0 -
Well done on the sales :T
I think the thing with ebay is the listing/packing etc is a pain in the rear, but when you see the money coming in it can motivate you to keep going."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". How I love this day, when the clocks have gone forward and we have all those lovely long evenings to look forward to. :j:T:beer:
It's also Mother's Day but I'm not expecting much to happen here on that account. In fact, I am spending the day in the garden scrubbing down our fence.
It's so lovely outside, I walked down to the shop earlier for the paper and the daffodils are glorious, it's sunny, it's warm and it's BRITISH SUMMER TIME.:D:D
My own tubs and pots in the garden are looking very pretty with lots of daffodils. The tulips are just making an appearance and I noticed yesterday that my raspberries are beginning to poke their new shoots out above the soil. Mmmmm, they will be delicious in about August time.
Anyway, must get this day on the road. Have a good one everyone.0 -

Happy Mother's Day from all of us:)
It's hard to keep up all the time and a 2 day old to do list sounds pretty impressive to me...now 2 weeks would be harder to praise :rotfl:
It's great that the weather is warming up...need to get down the allotment really. Would go today but am now thinking maybe tomorrow

Aw, thanks, Brizzled. I had a nice day though I spent most of it slaving in the garden. Really pleased with what I got done and I have burned off a trillion calories in the process so it's all good.
I got cards, flowers and chocolate for Mother's Day. I had a couple of breaks from my fence-scrubbing to indulge in a nice cuppa in the sunshine, with a small bar of dark chocolate to keep me company - lovely.
Had a delicious dinner of slow-cooked roast lamb with all the trimmings, cooked by DH. Now I need to decide what to do with the rest of my evening. I think laundry and ironing beckons.0 -

Pleased you had a nice day and managed to get out in the sunshine and get some gardening done. )
Mr tc was in the garden this morning (before I got up)he only did a bit, but it was more than I have done in the garden for a while. I still need to sort my seeds out!
Slow cooked roast lamb sounds lovely-lamb is my favourite!
