Again, its unlikely to be a hardware problem. At least check that you laptop works with a WIRED connection first directly to your hub and then with the solwise in the conservatory.
If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.

Looks like it's back to the drawing board for me, this homeplug is useless. I can't even find it in my network connections anymore. I have tried unplugging both & pressing the reset button too but it's disappeared.
Hope you get it sorted - will be interesting to hear what happens. I would like to extend the pathetic range of my Virgin superhub and have been considering the various Wifi Range Extenders available. Generally cheaper than homeplug systems if less flexible. However should meet my needs.

All sorted I phoned Solwise technical support, very impressed got through to a human being straight away and their phone number wasn't a rip off number either.

The guy instantly knew the problem. On the wireless extender there are 4 lights but the bottom light is also a tiny switch which turns the wireless on & off but it still lights up even when the wireless has been switched off. I must have pressed it when I unplugged the unit.

All devices picking up the solwise in the Conservatory, also works in the garden. The wife will be impressed when she is sunning herself & using her ipad come summer.

I will give this another week and report back here to update you unless in the meantime it stops working again.
  • Still working fine. Would recommend this product.
