im going to go back tomorrow and have another look at this...I looked yesterday afternoon but wasnt convinced I could pull off the dtd...
The £10 eggs were priced up as special promotion at £10 and on the shelf below were the rows of cheaper eggs in the promotion of 2 for £8...they were normally £6 each ...
Whilst I could see that the larger eggs fell into the perameter weight wise I think the yellow special 2 for labels indicated only the £6 eggs were included...
Well done if you managed to get the dtd...but I think my local T has made it difficult to push for the dtd.
It might be one of those where some stores will honor the dtd because the SEL is woolley...others (possibly like my T ) will insist their labeling doesnt include the larger eggs.
In my store the 2 for £8 was directly under the £10 eggs. In fact the SEL was one piece of paper. Where it said £10 each on 1 st half and 2 for £8 on other half. You actually had to go out of you way onto another shelf to find other Thorntons eggs. Thought it looked mad and can't understand why they didn't spot it when putting out the SELS
Happy though as my brother and SIL will really like them.Pan drawers in 2016 £1500 needed.0 -

For example the current glitch on Radox handwash......it costs £1.90/3 for £3 in As. It costs £1 in S. The price checker currently isn't picking up the Multibuy in As so it thinks you paid £1.90 for it when in fact you only paid £1.......and it gives you the difference.
Bear in mind these glitches can end at any time, there are never any guarantees that they will work. But when they do it's great!
Stick around....it's worth it
Cracking answer FC....very comprehensively put...I wish I was that good with words!....they usually tumble out in the same jumbled way my brain works and then its up to everyone else to make sense of what I say....frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Thank you all for such quick responses and your warm welcomes.
I *think* (hope) I am beginning to get it. Thank you for the explanation Tw1nb0ys, does this work on all deals (BOGOF, 3 for £10, £3.50 each or 2 for £6.00 etc) or only on ones with glitches? If it is only on glitched deals, is that the main purpose of this thread, to share the glitches?
answers on a postcard please :rotfl:
The purpose of This thread is much much more than sharing glitches , it is a lovely harmonious place to be, the glitches are just a bonus:beer:It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Take the Radox that is still glitching today and was so all of yesterday. When you see the price comparisons people are posting of £1.90 each v £1 each, we didn't actually pay that amount. I bought several last night in groups of 9 and paid £9 cash for them as they are 3 for £3 instore. The price comparison website thought I had paid £1.90 for each of them + their 10% extra guarantee so I actually got a voucher back for £9, making the Radox free.:D;)
Thank you for explaining so clearly. If you don't mind me asking another couple of questions... why did you buy them in groups of 9 and did you have to buy fillers with each group of 9? Also, how do I identify fillers please?Shortfatscotsbloke wrote: »Stick around, read lots and your whole outlook on shopping will change forever. Also, you will never be poor again as you will learn a ridiculous amount on here about saving cash.;)
That's wonderful news - I had to take take early retirement last year due to a health problem and although I now work part time we are finding it difficult to tighten our belts sufficiently. Fingers crossed that. if I can get the hang of this, then it could really help.
Thanks again “A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”
