Happy Birthday to my friend tweets
I hope you have a great Birthday, you deserve it
Logged in earlier as am having a problem with Park Resorts/Sun Holidays, been looking for a number to contact them as they are ignoring my emails.
You lot have been busy since last night. Well done on the handwash guys, well done deedee. I have enough of the stuff to last a couple of years I thinkBirthday wished to the tweets and Midwinter :bdaycake:
Fairclare, hope you enjoyed your couple of hours out and not at the dentist.
You need to look after yourself, so you can take care of DH and family.
You always sound so positive when a lesser person would of cracked under the strain and not achieve a fraction of what you have.
My dental app washad 2 hours in the dentist chair yesterday. Had a triple bridge that needed to be removed and root canal filling before post and new bridge can be done.
Root canal is horrid, so very sore mouth last night.Little t :grouphug: Midwinter

Hi everyone,
I'm a long time MSEer and avid follower of the Grabit board but had never noticed this thread before today. However, the 'filler, filler, filler' title in the 'expired' section caught my eye and I wandered in for a nosey! Having had a quick scan through the first and last couple of pages, it looks like a great community and one I'd like to become part of if that's OK.
I found the OP very helpful with all the info on acronyms etc - even though I've been part of MSE for years I still don't know/remember them all so many thanks for that. However, one thing that did make me smile was the fact that we have dh, ds and dd by no dw (dear wife). Does this mean that all our lovely dh's are too shyto use such a term of endearment?
Finally, (sorry for the long first post in here) I have a question (hope it doesn't sound too stupid):
I've read the posts containing lists of items that trigger the price matching between the major supermarkets but cannot for the life of me fathom how this saves money as (by my logic, which must be wrong so I'd really appreciate some help in understanding) I can't see how, for example, spending £25 in Asda and then getting a voucher for £5 off my next shop because the same items in Tesco would have cost me £20 has actually saved me any more money than going to Tescos would have in the first place IYSWIM. Please can someone explain how the price matching lists work?
