NSD no 2 :) Day off tomorrow and need to buy some essentials so won't be a NSD. I WILL stick to my rules though!

    Thanks Dr Squeeze :)

I'm sticking to my guns, spent £7.50 on some cards for people today. Had a free coffee in cafe nero and spent a nice hour browsing the internet (also free).

OH took me out to dinner :)

Needed essentials in boots- paid with points.

    Still within budget (just!)

Spent £3 on lunch at uni
Spent £19 on essentials in Tesco- used some coupons and my £2 off voucher though.
Spent £15 on dinner and drinks with OH. Not thrilled about that but tonight marked the end of him working insanely hard and he wanted to go out so felt I should really. Need to invest in my relationship too!

Made sandwiches and pizza to take to work tomorrow. I've also packed my water bottle, a mug and some tea bags so should be a NSD tomorrow.

Cancelled a planned expensive dinner with my friend. We will go to pizza express instead- where i can use my tesco vouchers.

All in all, I'm back down to £0 BUT i'm still in budget.

Very impressive, and I note from the post above that you're staying within budget. From reading your earlier posts I know you've made a huge effort to get things under control, so you should be rightly very pleased with yourself :T

Switched my natwest gold account to the cheaper nationwide version. Natwest still took the whole £15 out today. Not helping the budget guys!!

I now have £19 in the budget. Day off today, hope I manage to stick to it!

Phew, got away with it. £9.95 spent in Tesco on essentials (and slightly non essentials!) but still, I am within budget :)

Potentially 2 NSDs coming up as I'm working and already have food.

Spent a naughty £4.10 at work today. Had a really bad nights sleep and then the clocks went forward. So bought coffee and then later on chocolate to keep me going. Work again tomorrow. Will try really hard to make if a NSD.

NSD yesterday!! Would've (boringly I know) reported it but the forum was down!

I'm off today, need to buy nice sausages and some potatoes for bangers and mash later. Also need to buy a buy a baguette for tomorrows lunch at work. I hope to spend a maximum of £6 today.

Is this MSE thing a bit like a diet, after a week or so you start to feel like you want to fall off the wagon and eat (spend) again, just because it is so much fun?! I will not do that , just acknowledging that it would be sooo nice!!

Then again, how am I struggling on a £10 a day budget? I am well aware that I am lucky as some probably have around that much to last all week.....

I suppose it's because I still want to do things such as socialise out, eat out etc. For example, going to my Mum's this weekend for a belated Mother's Day celebration. Need to take her for a curry, pay for train tickets and buy a railcard. So my whole week's budget will be (more than) blown in one day!!

Must stop rambling on here, need to take the dog out, go to the gym and do some studying...
