  • Thought I'd do an update....
Opened mine in August (when share prices started to go pear shaped)
    3 * 50 in
Plus I've divided the 110 I received by 5 to take me to the end of the tax year.
    So that's 150 + 72 Total 222.
It's as of 1st Dec 225.88 (Mind you it had been below 222.00 for all of Nov, so I'm pleased with that)
Haven't got around to switching to a SSISA. Became confused about Selftrade, or whether H&L were any good..

Duns this will make your blood boil.. Works IFA, who deals with company pension.
    Me to him
"I'd be interested in some investment advice please. Risk is spread. I've got X"
Him to me "Yes I'll get back to you.."
He even took a print out of all my savings and where they are (I offered)
Heard nowt since....... At least a month....
Errrr, does he want the business or not? If I'm not worth it, he should have said so.

My transaction was never tracked by Quidco, so i never invested any money in the Isa. I wrote to Legal and General to complain . They wrote back with an apology and put £60 into my bank account, so in the end an excellent result.

Will have to give this a try

Can you trnasfer it to H&L so you don't lose your ISA allowance - any costs involved in this?

Exactly, what I had in mind Stphn..... I went for the Ethical ISA. It's down on the actual money I've put in now (including the free 110, which I spread over the monthly payments...)... Worth baring in mind that, monthly payments will have been buying units, whilst they've been cheap, in the current climate... but hell, what do I know..

I Asked the exact same Q... about transfering out, from L&G....
Yes you transfer it out though ... Don't believe they charge anything to do so and then of course you're into whatever H&L's fees are.....

So your looking at 3, maybe 4 x £50 payments = £200 max, if trnasfer you keep your ISA allowance and make at least 50% return in 4 months. Sounds good to me

I've been a bit of a muppet with this really.. It's a FTSE based one so, I'm down on the money I've put in... It may be time to get over my inertia and actually do something about switching..
  • Looks like they have reduced the payment from £110 to £85. I checked on the other day, and it was £110. Yesterday, I'm sure it was £110, but today it is £85.

Its still 110.00 on Cashback Kings atm, No annual fee, act quick. ;)

Tracked within 24 hours for me, if Cashback gets paid on time I will have only made one payment of 50.00.

Not really. Does the cashback make up for the loss? Did you switch after the cashback was payed?
