None in store at Leigh. so ordered 6 on line.
Wait and see!
Thanks to OP.0 -
It is 40% alcohol by volume & not 40 proof as originally mentioned by me but as u can imagine, for us old timers, old habits linger on. (don't u guys remember when it used to be 40*)
The taste is not bad either & i recon it is between 3 & 5 yrs old & it is still available on web site.
Best thing is to order 10 bottles & use ****** to bring the cost down to £40 for 10 = £4.00 per bottle + £3.25 for delivery............I think i m gonna order more:beer: :j

Thought I was going mad! The offerings on the website must be based on what is available in your local store. I logged out and could see the offer, logged in it disappears.
Good post tho'!if i had known then what i know now0 -
I phoned various ASDA stores in Somerset yesterday with no success. ASDA online will not deliver to my postcode. Eventually I found that the massive ASDA at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol had about 80 bottles, so I did a 63 mile round trip today for 25 bottles. The taste is nice but not up to Glenfiddich standards.
At this price it is cheaper than any blended whisky - it is a Speyside single malt. I think I will get some more!!! Even at the original price of £7.14 it is a bargain. I don't understand why the small to medium ASDA stores don't stock it.0 -
Asda in Spondon, Derby had plenty last week for those in the area.0
