Still not received any dividends that were due at end of November. Anyone else?0

Two received - just Unicorn to arrive!0

I've received my dividends due at end of November; they were in my account on Monday morning.
Same goes for my husband.
And I've just transferred some funds and made a couple of purchases and all seems o.k.0 -
4 arrived yesterday,2 outstanding0

My end of November dividends haven't arrived yet...can't say I am surprised. I will be chasing them again soon.0

i haven't even started to check through what dividends i should have received... and am really unsure whether to hope that iii will be a decent organisation once the rush of new clients from HL have been absorbed effectively. or whether to leg it.:undecided
All I can say is check absolutely EVERYTHING, they cannot be trusted to do anything properly. Go through your investments and make a list of every dividend that should be paid and when, and tick them off once they have been paid, or chase up after 2 weeks if they haven't. Also make sure that if you have any investments in your ISA such as bond funds on which 20% tax is taken off income payments, that they reclaim this tax from HMRC and credit it into your account. Do not expect them to do this without several massive kicks up the backside on your part - take it from me it will not happen unless you jump up and down. Also do not expect that when a tax credit eventually does appear in your account there will be any information telling you to what time period it relates, to enable you to check that everything has been received correctly. Then you will have to phone up to check, spend half an hour on the phone being passed round from pillar to post being given erroneous information by clueless staff who do not have any idea what a tax reclaim within an ISA is. You will be told such gems as 'It isn't possible to reclaim tax' and 'It isn't necessary to reclaim tax as everything is paid tax free within an ISA' all in the course of the same phone call. Welcome to my world!!! What concerns me is that there are probably many people who don't understand this as well as we do and they will be giving them wrong information. The nightmare continues.......:mad:0 -

So thanks to the 2 J's and all of you who have posted your pearls of wisdom!.
Glad that us 2 J's have been able to help you, but isn't it appalling that it is necessary to put a public post on facebook before they will get off their backsides?! They could have done all that in response to your phonecalls and messages, but no. Now that you have got all your funds be prepared to chase up missing dividends and tax reclaims month after month and encounter their ineptitude once again! Very different reaction from Hargreaves Lansdown - they sent a couple of funds from my SIPP to the wrong counterparty and they had to go back into my account with them and out again, and there were some other issues where they tried to sell investments from my SIPP without my authorisation because they mistakenly thought I was transferring my entire SIPP to iii instead of only part of it. Yes they messed up but when I complained they put it right promptly and gave me £200 in compensation. I then complained about the length of time it took to transfer my ISA and they gave me £150 compensation for that as well. What a difference from iii. The tax rebates were always in my ISA 2 days after HMRC paid them, without my ever once having to check or chase them up, and if ever you rang up you immediately got through to someone that could help you rather than a human messaging system that would pass on your comments to this team or that team or the raving monster loonies team who would then never get back to you. Sorry everyone for ranting but as you can probably tell I am pretty frustrated with iii again and am turning into a raving monster loony myself...I can feel another facebook moment coming on!0 -
Thanks Julia!,
I have now requested compensation from them for the 7 months it took to transfer from HL,they have forgotten to pay my £120 incentive(my wife has hers),2 dividends outstanding and no tax credits paid in from my ISA's.
They are now treating our case as a complaint following my facebook complaint and have said it will take up to 4 weeks to reply!!.
I have asked for commission credits and the waiving of next quarters fees for both of us,we'll see what they come up with.
Once I have eveything in place I'll think again about where to invest, but in the meantime I look forward to another of your rants on facebook:D0 -

Julia, I thought there was no tax on Corp bonds as long as they were in a S&S ISA so I couldn't reclaim tax?.I stand to be corrected:o0
