I chased three funds transfers (held with three different companies) today; two tell me they are awaiting acknowledgement from II and the third tells me that I've completed the wrong transfer form (although I'm pretty sure I didn't).
So now I have to start the process all over again for this one fund and hope that my chivvying of II will produce some results with the other two....
And two of my husband's ISA transfers have also had to be applied for again, as the forms seem to have been lost somewhere between II and the previous company....
Tomorrow I'll be chasing another two companies who don't appear to have acted on my instructions either; (couldn't face it today as I need to lie down in a darkened room for a while).
I'm completely, totally and utterly flabbergasted.

P.S. None of these companies are HL.

Yes, but for ISAs. I don't have a SIPP.
I received the form from H-L about a week after sending my form to III.

Well just to throw in my two groats worth......
I do not use HL (currently) and use II only for their online portfolio monitoring tool. (which sometimes has short term glitches but overall is very good!), so you may be asking how can I contribute to this thread?

Someone earlier posted that there are three parties involved in the transfer from one platform to another, The fund houses being the third. I had an experience of trying to sell funds dealing directly with the managers recently. Fidelity somehow managed to 'delay' for several months and over that time value was lost whereas Jupiter did the transaction on my telephone instructions (with security checks and follow up snail mail confirmations) all completed with contract note within a couple of days! Chalk versus Cheese! ;)

I have done investments for an ISA based upon advice several years ago with stockbrokers Pilling. No online dealing but just a telephone call away. Brilliant service, no comms issues and great prices for an ISA but relatively high dealing charges. Recently they also changed their charging regime, it will cost me more :(......................
................but having read through this thread I might just stay where I am! You sometimes have to pay more for quality and had I initiated a transfer I could have lost the ability for a trade that I completed and could have lost more than I potentially have saved!:j

    .........................just a thought.

I am only transferring an ISA as I don't have a SIPP, but have not received anything from HL.
My transfer is going ahead with all funds gone from HL but only half showing at II.
Cash is still with HL and I am just over 7 weeks in so far.

Interestingly, Ainsley1, the one company that I haven't had to chase is Jupiter, who have written to me informing me that they have transferred my holdings to II as instructed.

very fair points Ainsley. it's easy in hindsight, but if i had decided to stay with HL i would have bought AstraZeneca before the Pfizer news broke, so would have covered the higher cost of staying with them. we live & learn, i suppose. overall, the concept of moving to a lower cost platform has to be a good one. but i really hope that II aren't going to let us all down.

Checked today and my cash balance is now there and the 1 fund.

But there is a big problem

My fund on HL was Accumulation units

Its now on ii as income units.

The problem is the difference in unit price meaning it has lost 8.5k  in value because someone has made a mistake and put it on as the wrong fund :(

Initially II blamed HL, so called HL and they checked everything and called the fund manager to check they done everything ok and called me back and said all OK from their side. They gave me the fund managers deal reference and said II need to call the fund manager and give the reference to check.

So I asked II to chase and call me back today. No call by 6:30pm so I called and spoke With a supervisor who assured me they will call me Monday to let me know if it is sorted or what actions they are taking to sort it.

II are blaming the mistake on HL saying the initial valuation provided by hl showed the wrong fund.
