After three complaints to iii. Julia Baxter has sent me an email saying my Tax Voucher is available online if I logon to my account. One small problem, iii deleted my on-line account when my transfer away from them completed on 1st Dec 2014, nearly a year ago. :(

Is there a way to find out what my fund rebate should be? The web site says that "we rebate 100% of income and commission we receive on your funds". I hold an HSBC index fund which I thought didn't pay commission but I just received a fund rebate - for the first time, which is strange since I've been with Interactive Investor for 1.5 years or so.

The HSBC trackers don't pay any trail commission, so the rebate could be a mistake. Their fund 'factsheet' pages state the annual rebate applicable to each fund.

This might be an error? I think that I have been made a payment in error and am in correspondence with II about it.

Thanks. I also thought HSBC trackers don't pay commission but the factsheet lists a 0.10% rebate. I wonder if this is new or an error.

It's not an error. HL is also rebating 0.1% on them now: http://www.hl.co.uk/funds/index-tracker-funds/view-index-tracker-funds?companyid=25&sectorid=&investment=

This must have been a relatively recent change, which is why you haven't received any rebate on them before.

Interesting but mine isn't a commission rebate but a duplicate dividend - there also seems to be an anomaly with a tax rebate - I'm waiting to hear....

It seems that I was lucky and after a couple of complaints, they actually transferred at least some money through to my new broker, although the dividends arrived as a lump sum identified as "Cash received from iii" and tax rebates trickled through with no identification of the funds they were from.

As I have been trying to explain to iii, withhout any access to my account online, I would like an annual statement of some sort to check these unidentifiable payments, as well as filling in my tax return!

Do you think theres a chance that I'll be able to wash my hands of these inept shysters by the anniversary of me leaving them (1st Dec)? What are the chances of both:

    1) them posting me a statement?
    2) it being correct?

    Doubtful
    1) No chance
    2) No chance
