Nocto No. You have to tell them - or they will continue charging you - bad people.
Why am I not surprised!
Though to be fair, my previous accounts didn’t close when I transferred. But as they don’t charge fixed fees it’s not an issue.
When I finally decide what I’m going to do, I can live with a few fees while I sort out remaining dividends, tax certificates, etc.
Of course if that’s what I want to happen, they’ll probably do the complete opposite!0 -
Received mine too!
Did you send the persuaders round?:rotfl:
Relative still waiting for F&C.....0 -
I would generally agree with Borrowed Tune - it took far too long to transfer from HL (mostly not II's fault) and dividends were slow initially, but now seem to come in regularly. That said, I'm not in drawdown just now so the exact timing isn't a worry.
Haven't had any particular difficulties with the website either, & as my partner also manages to use it without difficulty I have no complaints just now.0 -

I had an account with III years ago which I closed - years ago. But guess what, when I tried to open a new one last year and claim the cash incentive, they resurrected the old one telling me that it had 'lain dormant' and that I wasn't eligible for the cash incentive!!:o0 -

Somewhat surprised that given the problems you returned to III. Once bitten, twice shy?0 -

I had absolutely no problems with them at all first time around, which was why I didn't think twice about returning to them. The only reason I left was that they introduced charges so I moved to somewhere else that didn't charge. At that time I only held shares with them, which was probably why I didn't encounter any difficulties!0 -
Its that time of the month again. Wonder how long fund dividend payments will take this time round?0

I never thought I’d be glad of a month when I’m not due any dividends! But I’ll be very interested to hear how well II perform with this seemingly simple task this month…
I’m still suffering from transfer indecision!0
