Today should not be too spendy. There are a few things I need for this wee break we're going on but it's all included in the budget. I'm taking my new birthday bike to work to save on bus fares so we'll see how that goes.
I don't feel very well today. I have a sore chest and a bit of a cough. Bleh.
I keep redoing my sums for the end of May wage. I'm pretty sure I'll get one of my cards paid off completely. I can hardly wait.
Happy debt busting everyone.

I'm back from my weekend break and managed to have a good time despite still feeling a wee bit rough.
Another regular monthly payment has gone out so I've paid off £106 of debt and updated my signature. I'm still on target to get a good chunk paid off next week on pay day, hopefully clearing my target credit card completely. My fingers are crossed no big unexpected expenses come my way before next Tuesday.
Happy debt busting everyone.

The 'one debt down' party is over and I've just finished clearing up. It was a great party, but time to get back to reality.

I've just had a proper look at the next credit card to be paid off. This one has just become the target card and it is HUGE, almost half of my remaining debt, the biggest of them all by a mile.
The total is scaring me somewhat so I thought I'd share here to help lessen the shock.
I owe £4,631.92 on this card. The interest is 0% until November this year and the minimum payment is around £106 monthly. The website is easy to use now that I've changed my username and don't have to look around for the account number every time I log in.
I won't be able to overpay this month as we are dealing with OH's small (ish) overdraft and also need spends for our summer holiday. However, at the end of July and for the following few months, I should be able to make a massive overpayment and hopefully get it paid off before it starts earning interest.
The Plan
£500 paid off between now and November via minimum monthly payments
£1000 overpayment monthly from July, August, September, October wages
*gulp*
Is this even possible? Have I gone a little nuts? Possibly, but I'm up for a challenge.
I also plan to post here daily to help keep me on track.
Happy money saving everyone.
