I didn't get round to it in the end. I thought applications had to be made in branch if you wanted the £100 gift card.
Having a quick look at their website, I don't think the offer is still running, although it was never well advertised online. I did have a leaflet and it was only on from mid Feb to late March from memory.
Does anyone know if the £100 gift card is still available?0 -
For those interested, this seems to be live again but not for long. I think you can see which branches are participating somewhere on their site.
*Terms and conditions for £100 One4all Gift Card offer
1. The One4all Gift Card promotion is available to all new and existing Post Office Current Account customers.2. To be eligible you must use our Current Account Switch Service and complete a switch from a non-Post Office Current Account, having fully completed and submitted a switching form between 01 July 2014 and 31 August 2014.3. The offer can only be used once and does not apply to additional Post Office Current Accounts.4. Only one One4all Gift Card will be allocated per Post Office Current Account in any 12 month period.5. The gift card will be sent to your home address within 1 month of the switch being completed. Terms and conditions for the gift card apply and can be found at www.one4allgiftcard.co.uk.6. If the Post Office Current Account is closed for any reason or we receive an instruction to close the account, or the switching process is cancelled, within 21 days of the application to switch then the £100 One4all Post Office Gift Card will not be issued.7. All eligibility criteria and terms and conditions must be met. We reserve the right to decline any application for a product or service.8. This offer is not transferable and there is no cash alternative.9. Do you have a link to the promotion?
Can't seem to find this on PO website.

^ I was emailed the above as I signed up to get updates when it was rolled out to a branch near me.
Terms clearly state open to all though, from what I can glean it is a case of filling the form out and setting the account up in person in one of the branches applicable. However others have indicated an appointment is required with a 'FA', so I am unsure exactly.
Has anyone else done this recently and can advise further?0 -
can't find anything on their site that refers to this. Anyone got any links ? I did register at the outset but nothing received0

There is an option at the bottom of the email to forward on, so if anyone would like a copy pm me.0

Don't get me wrong...I believe you and it all seems legit.
But I wonder whether I'll get the incentive because I didn't receive the email...:grouphug:

Having read all the T&Cs, I think we'd be too late now to apply for this (unless you started the switch within the last few days):To be eligible you must use our Current Account Switch Service and complete a switch from a non-Post Office Current Account, having fully completed and submitted a switching form between 01 July 2014 and 31 August 2014
If I went in tomorrow, opened the account and started the switch, then my earliest completion date would be 1st Sept, which means I probably wouldn't receive the gift card.:grouphug:

Link in post #11. However, by "participating branches" they're referring to those branches where you can open an account...not those where you can bag a joining incentive.daniel_varnoir wrote: »I think you can see which branches are participating somewhere on their site.
Probably best to call into branch and see if they've any paperwork on the offer. Even then, it's going to be tight to get things done by the end of the month?0
