Will have a wait until its rolled out just a tiny bit further!
I took the plunge and went into the Post Office to find out:eek:
I now know where the "Care in the community" patients\immigrants\OAP's go.
Bottom line is the staff are clueless, they will NOT give out any details as you have to book an appointment with the Financial advisor who will fill the form out with\for you.
Mine is not available for a week.
So before you waste your time try to get an "interview" or at least the FA email so you can ask Q's0 -

so can you open an account at a branch which is NOT in your town ?
Wonder when the rest of the branches will be rolled out ?0 -
The title is misleading ....
"The Post Office has unveiled a new £100 gift card sign-up bonus for new customers switching to one of its three current accounts"
It is a gift card, Not cash.
Do not know how this gift card looklike. Is it the same with voucher and you need to spend at certain store in limited time ?0 -

Kind off, but the "allowed store list" is pretty comprehensive (thousands of shops) and it lasts for 18 months before incurring a 90p/month charge until the card has a zero balance. I think most people will have spent the contents by then.0 -
Anyone taken the plunge on this?0

I'm looking for a new home for my current account banking but the Post Office isnt exactly wowing me at the moment. I think they'll quite possibly stay as a last resort for those who cant get an account with any other mainstream organisation.Debt Free! Long road, but we did it

Does anyone know if they credit check you if you dont want the overdraft?0
-
All current account applications will include a full credit check, whether you are applying for an overdraft or not.
You could still use the account for unauthorised overdrafts, and/or your credit file may contain information that is not acceptable to the current account provider.0
