Nsd planned today. May walk children to ffoods to buy a nice cream (pack of four, all have to have the same!!), but that would be from my pocket money, and would save a fortune compared with buying them out. I love cheating the system!!
Doing a picnic for lunch, with bits from freezer, sandwiches, lo pizza from yest dinner, crisps, etc. dinner is tith. I use a smart price mix, as you only need one egg for that. Does anyone have a recipe that only uses one egg? Least I can find is three! I'm not using three eggs!!
Have a gd day all, enjoy the sunshine!
PG xGrocery challenge for family of three - me, dd(12) and ds(11), feeding dp 2 or 3 x a week too. Only food, not toiletries. Jan £87.97/£100 Feb £0/£100
Frugal 2018 needed! Saving and NOT spending0 -
The reason for 3 eggs in batter is so that it rises better. It might be worth trying self raising flour rather than plain - you may get away with just 1 egg then.

Had a spend of £10.47 in Mr Ts this morning from the grocery budget and have updated my signature.
Need to update it again as just realised I also spent £2 in I*eland and 97p in the farm shop so another £2.97 to add so a total of £174.85. Will update signature again!
