Just worked out that my breadmaker version of pizza bases costs 63p to make. We usually make 3 pizzas out of it, and they are decent sized pizzas.

Can't remember where I got it from, so I'll just copy it here:

    Breadmaker pizza dough
    1 1/3 cup warm water
1/4 cup oil (I use coconut oil because it's what we have - other oils may be cheaper)
    3 1/2 cups flour (~460g)
    1 tbsp sugar
    1 tsp salt
    3 tsp yeast

Use the dough cycle on the machine (mine takes 1 1/2 hours). Remove dough from the machine and let rise for 30 minutes (I NEVER do this step, and it's fine!). Preheat oven to 220C. Grease your pizza pans, place dough on them and stretch to fit. Parbake crust for 5 minutes. Add toppings, return to oven and bake for 12 minutes.

Was feeling a bit down so OH took me for a drive up the beach. There is approximately 20 kms between the two rivers, and once you get a couple of kms away from the town the rest is totally deserted. Its wonderful to just walk, me OH, lots of seabirds and no other people. At times like this I realise just what a wonderful environment I am privileged to live in.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day
    Cheers

Hope you feeling better. Your beach sounds absolutely wonderful - you need the nice weather though. We have some lovely beaches and spaces here but seldom the weather to enjoy them.

Had NSD today and as I working late it is dinner of LO bits and pieces. There is bean soup with fresh bread, cold chicken and salad with jackets and the last of the blackcurrant pie and custard - so I don't think we'll starve :)

Hope you all have a thrifty Tuesday

There I was planning a lovely menu for Easter Sunday and my DD reminds me that we wont be here, going to Amsterdam

I really thought I had another week, now to find Passport, Sort out clothes to take. Still it means no shopping for food on Friday so that's a bonus.
