Small planned spend of £5 today in ffoods. Needed a shove in the oven double serving dinner, so got three pizzas for £5, had one before DD's play, and two after, with leftovers for my lunch and dinner tomorrow. I usually make my own, but just had no time today, esp as I find hm take longer to cook, even if I had made the dough yest/this morning.
I'll be too tired tom eve to do any shopping, so nsd planned. Will shop at mr t for the offers I want on sat or sun, work dependent.
Just sitting down to do a couple of hours' work now, then up at six for a slightly shorter day (only planning on doing 11 hrs tom!).
Night all

I am so proud of myself. Did dinner last night and had the leftovers from a cabbage. We never eat the middle! I was about to throw it away and then wondered if I could make some soup with it. I have loads of onions and pots as I usually buy them by the sack now.found a recipe on line- carrots (had some left over from last week that I would have thrown, but put them in the freezer!), pots, onion, cabbage and I threw some peas in with some chicken stock. Put it in the slow cooker before I went to bed. Woke up this morning to a lovely smell in the house, whiz zed them up and made 6 lunches from them. Perfect for work! Cost- practically free as all would probably have been thrown away!Grocery challenge-
