    Good morning!

I said I'd let you know how the mash pizza went so here we go: it was edible! I think I didn't put enough flour in because it wouldn't come out of the (greased) pan. The flavour was good but it was falling apart. I wish I had read the gnocchi idea earlier! I love them but have never thought of making them myself. Next time!

Weather here is rubbish today so gonna make chicken risotto tonight- perfect comfort food.

So far not doing too badly, have only spent £6.43 on a few essentials like bread and milk. Trying to hold off doing a big shop as going away for a few days and all the fresh won't be a nice when we get back and should have enough to keep us going till then.

I can't remember when I last updated, but so far, my total spend has been £61.19 for the month so far.

Have three small cottage pies cooling to be put into the freezer, there are two trays of chicken korma with rice in the freezer, and three trays of pasta bolognese in the freezer as well. Planning on wrapping 3 chicken breasts in bacon, grilling them, and putting them into a tray with some mash and green beans. If I have any mash left (cooked around 2 kg of potatoes this morning!) I'll make some gnocchi for our bolognese tonight instead of cooking our dried pasta.

Definitely going to be getting more of the small foil take away style trays from
£-land next time I'm in town. I'm loving them! Whomever suggested them, thank you!

I have a shiny new pasta maker (£5 on clearance at sb!), and I'm itching to make tortellini! Any suggestions for fillings?

Kayester- I have had Sainsbury's deliveries twice before and never had any problems. I liked that I could pick a 1 hour slot and the deliveries were always on time and the driver helped me carry my shopping up three flights of stairs to the flat (I think they don't have to do this). I had one or two substitutions both times but had the option to send them back with the driver, which I did and got the money refunded later. One time I also had something missing and contacted customer services and they were very efficient in refunding the item and giving me an extra voucher for the inconvenience.

I shop in a variety of supermarkets but Sainsbury's is one of my favourite, probably because I know it the best and their basics products tend to be better I find.
