Anyone know if Virgin are giving away any freebies now and if so what they are? ::)0

Delivered by Mr Postie yesterday was a leaflet from good old MBNA offering:
FREE His and Hers Accurist Watch set (worth £110)
On new applications for their Platinum Plus card (0% on BTs for 9 months)
To apply call 0800 092 7292 and quote 31BJYVN4
But note that handling charges for BTs can be applied at rate of 2% of BT with no maximum charge.... but maybe you can haggle over this if their charge is too high?

Just spotted some conditions on this MBNA offer:
Only available if you respond/apply to the offer before 26 March 2005, and you have to make a purchase on the card before 14 May 2005. Watches will be sent within 28 days from the date that the purchase appears on your account. MNBA also reserve the right to offer alternative gifts of equal or greater value.

I got the watches last November from a previous offer. I just made the 1 purchase to qualify and rang and cancelled the card after the watches were delivered.
Towards the end of December I saw the article re the free DECT telephone so I rang MBNA and ordered another credit card. A nice man from MBNA has rung today to confirm I will be getting my new card with a £5,000 limit in the post very shortly.
Very surprised they let me do this but you don't get if you don't ask0 -
Got this in an email today
apply for an MBNA credit card, spent £150 on it, and get a free day at a health spa, including 90 minutes of treatment
looks good so far, but not had chance to check all the details.

Purchase was not necessary, doing a balance transfer enough to count as a transaction0
