Thanks Violetta and Pennib.
Today I've posted the details on the next in this series....the second top I wanted.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
I've posted about several more makes in detail over on my bl*g. Have done more makes with my quilting cottons and moved onto a couple of knits (I'm newish to sewing so in reality this all took me a couple of months to make these but I've only just got round to taking photos and writing about it. Here is the second pair of shorts I've made.
I drafted my fisrst pattern by copying a wiggle skirt.
Next up was a top using knit material.
Then a knit skirt.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
I know- I don't post for ages and then I take over the thread!! I've just finished my posts on my bl*g about sewing for project 333. The chances are I'll have a bit of a break from sewing and do some cardmaking as my writsts are very painful at the mo. Anyway sewing makes....
First I made a reversible skirt- the idea is that you can wear it one way in the day
Then turn it inside out for a stretch satin skirt for the evening.
Then another skirt from Sew Serendipity using quilting fabrics and some fabric stamping.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Wow Jellie you have been busy
I now have the squares cut for my DDs quilt and the material for my DSs quilt is waiting to be cut.
Still plugging away at the quiet book and making steady progress!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
If anyone is interested in sewing patterns, Jaycotts have a half price offer on the Simplicity patterns.
http://www.jaycotts.co.uk/collections/simplicity
It runs till about the 5th of October with free delivery if you spend over £20. They also sell thread and haberdashery. I have ordered from them before and have found them to be a good company to deal with.0 -
Jellie, you wont be short of an outfit or two. Great makes and colours.
Rummer, how's the quiet book coming along?
Thanks Rosalie-lavender for the link, will have a browse through later.0 -
Here is a portrait of Nikki. I slightly padded the body as it was a bit 'flat'. More pictures on my bl*g
