This made me smile LW, I just wondered if you had heard anything or if it was one of those urban myths, you are usually clued up about these things.:A I mostly use the oils because I use them in other things and there isn't a reliable local supplier for sticks and cones :)

  • Enters, feeling rather chuffed .....

Dot-to-dotting between the kitchen and bedroom today has made for two more presentableish rooms. More to do tomorrow from about 12.30 pm.

Socks being yawned off, so am planning an early night.

    Sweet dreams all.
  • Spent a lovely day in Leeds with DD2. WE shopped till we dropped in the new Primani and then I was treated to lunch! Had a lovely meal and chat and then we headed back to the station to catch a train home.

    A really lovely day.

    But am completely cream crackered.

Well done to Dusty and her DS. Hugs/healing vibes/sticks/spoons to those in need.

  • Need some microwave advice. I need a new one as my current one has gone rusty in the bottom same as the last one did and I don't know why or what I'm doing wrong to cause it. x

Mine too. I think its because I cook veg in it and the water somehow boils over into the bottom and I dont notice - so I dont wipe it up. Unless someone else knows better that is ....

And is it safe to use a microwave with a rusty bottom??? Mine is very bad and I keep meaning to get a new one.

Anyhow, bit of ironing today but nothing else. Have had a lovely day out but the kids are tired and grumpy now so I am trying to keep them as far apart as possible. I am tempted to go to bed and leave them and OH to it.

Ooh Dusty, I like your bag :)
How do you know which one is me?

I agree - it's a very nice bag. I did look at the picture befor I read Kaz's post too!

Feet de-grotted. Apparently my pre-christmas toe stubbing (still bruised under the nail) hasn't damaged the nail as much as I thought. I have been lectured about wider shoes and callouses and scar tissue:o

Stuff flung to Oxfam (as was heavy and was nearest CS)
Have bought Bil's birthday card, mothers day card (will be needed in March) and a sympathy card (I keep one 'to hand' and I had to use it - so I choose one I like at my leisure rather than having to go get one in a rush IYSWIM)

    Back of baby's jumper finished!

Delicious stew made - I used paprika as I still have loads left (benefit of having 'family' in Budapest) - was very nice considering I just fling stuff in and test until it tastes reasonable. Only thing is I can never replicate the stews and casseroles I make:rotfl:

Well done to your DD on her offer Valli - I know how much it means to them.

All the early mornings of WO watching are catching up with me so I'm off to bed.
