Mr O&O did come round  basically in the area due to his mum being very poorly in hospital :(
Quite an uncomfortable evening :( DD2 had opted to stay at her friends but DD1 didn't move from the front room  She wasn't 100% rude, she normally is with any bloke who enters my life :( but he wasn't far off rolling her eyes when he said anything. Luckily I don't think he noticed, as he hadn't slept properly for 48 hours and wasn't far off falling asleep on the sofa. I'm hoping this was the reason he seemed a bit "different" than normal
I'm feeling a bit down now this morning :(

Main plan today is to go to the library to print some stuff of as our printer isn't working. DD1 also needs to return some stuff she brought so she can go to the P.O at the same time.
The rest of the day I'll be pottering at home 'til the drama group this evening, which I don't much feel like going to but still :o

why are my children always ill on half term? Dd needs new schools and I am getting cabin fever!

I might force some fresh air on her later get the double pushchair out, she is 5 but quite long and narrow so should fit, ds2 can sit next to her and ds1 can take his plastic motor bike.

Bossy I have been thinking about u, I hope everything went smoothly on the D!

I am going to put a load on and try and get it on the line. I hope we are all having a nice day :)

I think children are ill at school holidays because they are tired and run down by the end of term so pick up bugs etc and they have a week or 2 incubation which means they hit at holiday times.

My toe is a spectacular purple today.. I can't walk on it or move it so there is a lot of bossing going on here today :p .. yes bed sheets hurt.. so I put my slipper back on :p

SO pleased I sorted DD3's new school shoes on Friday.

I've sorted out my chest of drawers. I'm slinging 5.5 pairs of pyjamas and 2 pairs of socks. Everything else is ok.
From my wardrobe, I have liberated a top. Everything else is ok. There is one dress which I will have another think on closer to summer, it can be tight around the arm pits so may go but I love it and wear it lots so may keep it! It's just a monsoon cotton thing but it's lovely.

Right. I shall look at the list and see what to do. Have to post it from the laptop as it's faffy cutting and pasting from the pad.

    Sorry about your toe pigpen.
Skint, hello again, glad ex OH's news wasn't too grim.

Have unpicked 8 of the over-knitted rows (I should have unpicked 12 but I am making the cardigan 1cm longer now;) )and started the raglan.

This was started last year. baby was born in January so I MUST finish it this week:eek: In fairness I was p/t when I started knitting - for a colleagues grandchild.

Have put 4 old phones in bag for Oxfam. I now have an empty drawer (well almost;)) in my bedside cabinet!

It did thank you! Had a really nice evening. He was lovely and very gentlemanlike but sadly not for me IYKWIM. He brought me a bunch of flowers! Very nice but a bit like going on a date with my dad  :rotfl: Positives I gained from the experience: I had no loyalty / guilt issues (kind of expected to cry all the way home!), and as the first date I've been on since meeting my DH it was very pleasant and not like the horror stories we've all heard about! So quite a big step for me, but a positive one!

I'm not flying, I'm in the office...

Back from the protest and DS3 quite enjoyed it, he loves chatting to adults.

Time for a cuppa and then a HHC.
