I have cleaned the living room and ironed the wax off the carpet (presumably from the New Years Day Power Cut) onto some kitchen roll, so that looks LOTS better.

Jacket spuds have been nuked and are finishing off (sharpish) in the oven.

well dirty washing was only half a load so instead I am Ironing 30mins in and the pile shows no signs of getting smaller haha.

My kitchen is gleaming!
Unfortunately I now have a box of toot to sort through. Things like screwdrivers and heads which have no business being in the kitchen. The contents of the box read like a Toots list in itself .
I have just thrown away a good portion of stuff which will never be used or has died.

Tonight I'm off to sign my Will, my nephew & niece get the bulk. My friend will look after my cats and will have some money to feed, insure & inoculate them. I've also stated how I want my funeral (I'm such a control freak )

I honestly have no idea; thankfully, asthma is one thing I don't suffer from.:o We just find sticks and cones easier to use than an oil burner; no idea why, just what we're used to doing, I guess.:o

Good on ya! That'll be a good job jobbed, as my grandmother would've said.:o Fwiw, I've specified everything about my funeral, right down to the reading (a piece written by Black Elk) and the music (Lakota Womens' Power Chant).:D

Every joint and muscle I have is in revolt today for some reason, so Feeble Flapping is pretty much reduced to crawling along the floor even more pathetically than usual.:D However, I have managed to construct Shepherd Spy for tonight's and tomorrow's dins.:o

Afternoon flyladies :wave:

Had another stinking migraine yesterday so flying was fairly limited, but DS1 (mainly) and DS2 (marginally) tidied their bedroom, picking up all the little "bits" and binning or putting them away properly, tidying their books shelves and generally making it all look a lot better :A I felt almost human enough to empty my ironing basket by 4pm, and got a big telling off from DH for my trouble when he got home; can't do right for doing wrong!

Today I blitzed the kitchen this morning, and then we went into town, then Ald!, then Sainsbobs, then the pet shop, then Tesc0 -- I'm pooped out now, can't imagine why.

I need to vacuum through, see if I can scrape together a load of laundry (didn't do any yesterday either, and I know there is none hiding anywhere, what's going on?!). The boys are making minted lamb meatballs for their dinner and I need to get sloppy joes ready for DH and me. He is out rehearsing tonight so I will be able to go bed at 9pm without anyone rolling their eyes.

I need a new kettle but I'm really struggling to find one I like! I never thought it could be this taxing…

FizzWhizz I finished mine just after 3:30 I feel better for doing it too.

OH just back from the doctors infected bronchitis, every year he starts to cough, every year I tell him to go to the docs and every year he leaves it till he can bearly breath.... What a tool.

I have prepped tea and soup for tomorrow kids are starving even Dd (hopefully she is feeling better) so am putting it on now.

Aww, she's done loads of laundry and the kitchen is clean :A

Dentist tomorrow then the usual half term get-together at my aunts. Really need to call my dad...
