Lozzy, hilarious! Do as the other's said, dispose of carefully and don't tell them. Howeverwill you tell your OH? Would he do that? Could you talk to him about how it made you feel?
Floor hoovered so I'll just mop it once DS2 has finished creating his lunch out there. I keep feeling a bit dizzy today which is most strange. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I've just discovered that some [STRIKE]stuff I was going to CS[/STRIKE] desirable items of clothing go for surprisingly high prices on the bay of E. Am I being mean not 'donating' them, as I did the two silk Mon$00n dresses and various other things I cleared out from the wardrobe last week?
For a couple of weeks I've been dot-to-dotting one storage space a day, five days a week - a drawer, a shelf, a box - to get a grip on the house. It's turning up masses of stuff I can let go, but only at the rate of two or three items a day which never seems that signficant an achievement. However, I've just worked out that would be somewhere between 522 and 783 items in one year, so I'm sticking with the plan. It seems to be working. It's all your fault, Dusty, for telling us to turn out our wardrobes and chests of drawers during the bedroom Room Rescue. I wish I could keep up. (Handsome son, btw).
Congrats Valli on DD's offer.Better is good enough.0 -
I managed to chomp a tadpole the moment it hatched last night.:D
Mr LW was going to put a t-shirt in the ragbag just because it had two tiny holes, one under each arm, where the seams have come adrift. Luckily I was in the spare room (where the ragbag lives) at the time, so he told me what he was doing (he wouldn't have, otherwise); ten minutes with needle, thread and thimble, and his t-shirt is wearable again.:T It's a nice t-shirt, one of the ones from Wychw00d brewery, with a beer label illustration on the front; and ironically, the colour thread needed was FROG GREEN.:rotfl:
Piggers I hope OH's interview went well, also that your toe is getting better. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Left to do:
Twinkling Tuesday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
Whitening Wednesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Thundering Thursday- Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Clean windows & any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Wipe skirtings, doorframes and other paintwork
Wed and Thurs list were postponed until today as DD had a "small, quiet gathering of her friends for half-term". We didn't get to bed until 3am and had to declutter the stairs, downstairs loo, front and back garden of vomit, do enough recycling to fill a wheelie bin and scrub, mop and hoover the entire downstairs. I knew it was going to be bad when I got in and 3 of them were camping under the dining table in a pool of spilt malibu  These are some of our towns best and brightest and all such lovely young people that it is hard to be cross but I could do with a couple of match sticks to prop up my eyelids todayProud to have dealt with our debt. I've cleaned a 4-bed, 3-bath house in two hours this morning -- unfortunately, it's not mine
Feeling very down today, DH is spoiling for an argument I'm certain, we NEVER fight so whatever is bothering him is clearly a big deal. And to top it off, I am missing my best friend SO much, I have been blubbing all morning
I just want to go to bed and write today off as a bad un.0 -

I take care of most of the finances and am in for the post each day so I don't think so. Although he keeps saying how much we need a new car (and we do 2 adults 3 cars seats in a clio is a tad cramped) We need to save for it as his job is not secure.... The fact it was with Aqua was what was making me so angry and it would of been the secrecy..... I have divided it between several stinky nappys thank you veggie soup lol.
Take care of your self Dusty between you and Natty you keep my house ticking over, some of it I do without thinking about now!0 -
fizzwizz, any chance you could just still down with him with a cuppa and say i know somethings bothering you any chance you want to talk about ti so hopefully between us we can sort it so its not playing on your mind any more. i know some blokes dont want to talk they just bottle things up but its not good for them or you.
HUGS i hope what ever it is doesnt cause an argument and you start feeling a bit easier soonSPC~12 ot 124
