    Hi all,

We are home. It was bedlam at Eureka. Some really rude people. I had to ask one woman to back off, she was hovering over me whilst I was writing my details on my pass! I did not need her close enough to sniff... Kids were bickering a bit too, so we came home. Wasn't a bad morning, per se but just a bit marred by pushy crowds. I did let them choose a small thing from the gift shop, DD is having a cup of tea in her new mug (warm apple juice, lol) and DS had a colour changing pen. So they are happy. DS has his trains out now and they are watching tom and jerry :D

I'm going to get some laundry done as I'll be ironing uniform tomorrow so I may as well do everything together. Other than that it's just cooking later and toys everywhere which we can deal with at bed time.

I didn't ask DH what his beef was as experience tells me that he'll say "nothing" then a few days later I'll get "Sorry I've been moody, it was because…" so I think I will be better off riding out his grump and see what he says later. It doesn't help that I'm a natural born worrier and I take everything far too personally! Had a texty chat with my best friend which helped a bit.
(((HUG))) FW; I'm a worrier, too; if I'm not worrying about something, I'm worrying because I must have overlooked something I should be worrying about!:D Hopefully your DH will let on what's been on his mind, so you can quit worrying about it.:o

Monthly back-up of all our files this weekend (I just do the finance stuff weekly) - I've done all mine, and I don't think Mr LW has saved anything since last month; I'll still get him to check, though.;)

Dys0n Tango done; loads more dog-hair removed from carpet (how is it I'm still picking it up when I've Dys0ned three times since Jessie went home??) Half a tonne of long red hair removed from Dys0n roller.:(
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Evening all, bends knees in comic fashion.

Took car to garage this morning then walked to the tram stop. Tram to city centre.
Got Ds2' feet measured. 1st shop said one foot 1.5 and other 2 but both C fitting and they had nothing in that size grrr. Tried another shop with kids from hell / oblivious parents in it. DS2 couldn't cope so we bought the first pair that didn't fall off him (size 2f in that shop).
Several calls to garage made car not ready so tram & bus home.

DH has picked up car and popped Mr Ms

Chilling tonight with a takeaway and waiting for DD to ring.

KazW just sorted DS3's clothes, a couple of bits may be of use for your young family member, have you got much for boys?

    Hi

Any thing you have that is warm (coats, gloves, jumpers, trousers, leggings and such like) for a 10 yrs old boy, or a 2 year girl of average size would be wonderful, they are going to be cold whgen they get here. neither of them have ever lived out side of 75 degrees night or day.

Thank you for thinking of me / them I am truely grateful.

Work done, ended up doing the whole day because of sickness, got my new boss to agree to a whole extra day off! so win win, but worn out again today.

    daily stuff only done
OH has done Wm and sorted drying out:T
OH has cooked chicken curry, I left made in fridge :T
OH has been shopping for 'food' :rotfl: which seems to be pork pies, biscuits and crisps  I have just asked where is the fruit or green stuff........:D

  • Evening everyone

Well the holidays are over. I have realised just how little spare time I have when I am at work - and how much time it really takes to do the housework properly.

I wish I could get rid of my second job but our finances are so uncertain for very complicated reasons. Then again I dont actually work full time so I should be grateful for that. I just need to make the most of the time I have I suppose.

Looks like its going to be decent weather tomorrow so might put a load of washing in now. Bought some baskets to organise all DS2s hair stuff and my make up in the bathroom so will tidy that up tomorrow.

Then there is paid work to do - and I really should do some studying. Kids are both going out I think so it will be quiet at least!

Well finally started looking at my frog, I've got most of the stuff together now but it will take a fair bit of collating tomorrow. The fact that it is out though means that I am more likely to crack on with it. Trouble is I need help with excel and DS1 will be at work. DH will help but will be more infuriating during the process as he will keep telling me bits I don't want to know :o

  • Good morning:D remember me?
I have been AWOL for about the last month due to study deadlines, work etc. I managed to get my last essay in 1 1/2 hours before the deadline. Yay me! I really, REALLY need to manage my time better & not stress myself out by working to deadlines!

I am still lying in bed ATM, catching up on the thread. I have missed a few weeks, so hugs, sticks & spoons where needed. The plan today is.... (What's the plan?) I think I need to make a list! May need the laptop for that.

I know I need to clear the DR table, do a food shop & fit in maybe 2 hours of study (so I don't fall behind again). I may also tackle a cupboard in the kitchen as they are driving me nuts! Why is it that the people in this house can find things they need, but never manage to put them back where they find them, HOW they find them? DH has a habit of reorganising things as well, then I have to put it back, then he moves it again, etc! Maybe we need to talk! :o

Ok, I think I need to get & get sorted! Maybe just 10 more minutes? ;)
