    Hey all.

Been out most of day, kids had a ball with their friends and feeling very peaceful now :T

I'd like to say I have achieved lots ;) but my car has been vacced out :T (not by me) lol at my friends, her husband likes to hide when all the kids are rioting so he took the vac out to do his car, but asked for my keys so he could move it so the extension would reach. My friend said "he will do yours too to avoid coming in to all this noise" :rotfl: and sure enough he did. A very thorough job too, lifted the buggy out and did under the kiddy seats. Some people will go to any lengths for peace and quiet :T:D

Need to decide what's for tea and the small people will have a bath later. I'm going to try declutter some greys when they are in bed. I have treated myself to a new ebook so that's me set for tonight.

Minor dot-to-dotting required in LR and garage.

    Welcome back, GI

Been out to a NT property to make the mos of the sunshine and see the snowdrops and silver birches. DS3 came along due to the lure of the teashop.

Just need to do dinner now and clean the kitchen sink.

Evening all. Where did this week go? I suppose I've achieved a fair mix of work, flying, gym and maybe rather more of winter olympics, reading forums/other time wasting stuff on computer.

Got a friend coming to stay tomorrow, met her in South Africa on holiday 3 yrs ago and we've kept in touch by FB. That has spurred on the tidying somewhat. Picking her up from Stansted after lunch (she's from Ireland) then overnight as she has a meeting in London on Monday. Hope my sniffles and cough don't turn into anything overnight; OH had bad cold last week and I thought I may have avoided it.

Major declutter of the week was taking an old desk to the charity shop. Not any old desk - I got it for my 10th birthday (I'm 55). It has moved house, been painted several times, and was much loved but really didn't match our needs any more. How odd to be sentimental about a piece of furniture, but I can remember coming downstairs and seeing it in the dining room with a big bow on it. Nice lady in charity shop said she'd give it a good home!!

Oh well that's enough rambling on for one day.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

I saw a china frog on a lily pad in an antiques shop window and thought of you , LW, mending Mr LW's t-shirt - almost bought it to put on my desk to remind me to keep frogs under control, but then realised that I would have to dust it :rotfl:

Ouch. Had you been at that communion wine? Healing vibes for the shoulder - again - Ionafan.

 JJ. It's lovely knowing you're around, even if you're not posting.

Has anyone heard from Bonnie Bumpkins? It's been weeks since she's been around.

Frog munching going on here; this one isn't too bad but will take a while to sort. I've got a bit of thinking to do, to find a way of finishing it. It'll come, eventually.
    Better is good enough.

Honeybear I don't think Bonnie has been around since before Christmas, I miss her too.

Been working on my froggie spreadsheet, probably about 1/3 the way there. DH is mean, makes me do it myself with instruction rather than taking over - I am so lazy with somethings.

Feeling very stressed as we have booked our flights today. DH and boys love holidays but I find them real hard and will stress about every step of the way. I try not to but the control freak in me wins!

Just a couple more bits on here then I'm off to bed to read or my mind will be sorting columns and rows all night.
