Can we save Marius 2?

Some people including me are just getting over the horrible killing of Marius last Sunday in Denmark. There are already plans to kill Marius 2 in Jyllands Park ZOO . Please sign this petition to save this beautiful young giraffe. Maybe it is not too late for him.

1 - please post this on the pet forum
2 - as Shaun has usefully posted there is a reason why the animal was euthanized. It is not something that is ever done lightly
3 - why not support one of the many campaigns trying to combat poaching and maintaining animals in their natural habitat.

Giraffe is hardly a pet.

They have stated that they will only kill him if they can't find another zoo to take him and that killing is far from certain.
