You were told you posted this in the wrong place and not for the first time. Get over yourself and realise the world doesn't revolve around you and your posts on MSE.

I vever said they shot it in front of the children but they did this.

Exactly, they fed the lions the giraffe meat. Would you rather they threw it away.

I'm more outraged at those parents who made their young children stand there and watch TBH, the didn't have to, did they?

It seems to me that it is not about my posts but the fact that I have posted them in the first place. The dislike that some people feel is towards me and not what the posts are about.

No. not heartless, at all. Just not brainwashed by the the emotive propaganda in the press.

The animal was destroyed for a reason. Breeding in captivity carries with it the responsibility for ensuring that the gene pool isn't polluted with defective genes. It's science. If you don't agree with breeding in captivity protest against that, but don't go getting all upset by people who can read a story and understand the facts.

Animals born outside of captivity have their own built in mechanism for destroying defective young, it's called survival of the fittest. That animal would have eventually been left for dead by the herd.

Giraffe is not a pet. Is that obvious enough?

Now that you have explained it, yes.
Thank you for taking the time to do so.

Why didn't you say that in the first place instead of "for obvious reasons", which certainly wasn't clear.
