Just back from zumba and nipped into gym for extra 15 minutes as still felt needed it as hard day at work. Rest of week plans for exercise have slipped as very short staffed so be working more..
Lots of nice comments about me looking thinner today, little boost to my confidence.
Well done on the loss, the positive comments really help too.
Equally. Mildredd, hum loud when they snipe at you, SW is about Control, and understanding how YOU work with food, we all over eat some days, we all feel bad for doing so. The art is not letting it cycle.
Blew out last night after uni, 25 syns gone - so today must be a very good day to balance that.
So much work to do today, I hope everyone is able to accept what the scales reveals for them, smile or frown. Good luck.0 -
Morning all, finding it a bit hard to keep up with all the posts in the forum because there are so many but well done everyone who's had a loss, Mildredd shocked to see what you said about snide comments at group - jealousy truly is a terrible thing!!
Off to see a job broker today, been out of work for four months and its such a difficult time to try and get a job. Asked the jobcentre for help last week, they seemed very taken aback but have referred me to this so fingers crossed!! It's all well and good being off for a few weeks but I'm starting to climb the walls now.
Today is a green day.....
Breakfast: Weetabix and Semi Skm Milk (HEXA & HEXB), banana
Lunch: HM soup, 2xslice ww bread (HEXB2)
Dinner: Rogan Josh made with superspeed veg, rice
Snacks HL choc mousse (6), sf jelly and fruit
Have a great day folks!xxx0 -

Mildredd, your group is full of *rses isn't it? i imagine they don't particularly like people being successful as it makes them feel bad about theirselves..
Welcome bliss...

Good morning everyone, I am new here, hope I can join in?
I joined SW last night, so today feeling a little bit daunted as to where to start. I would like to loose around 10lbs, which has been just creeping on in the last year.
I am a cereal girl through and through, but as I hadn't fully read everything this morning I had a yoghurt and and apple for breakfast. Then just found a syn free pancake, and had that for 11sies, with a teaspoon of maple syrup.
I work at home, so the kitchen has been calling me, and I have a sweet snacking tooth. Oh, and I'm vegetarian, so it will be quorn instead of meat for me.
There is a chicken (quron pieces for me) casserole in the slow cooker for tonight, syn free I hope, with loads of frozen casserole veg, a jar of tomato and herb sauce and some potatoes.
I'm making a shopping list today, so I can stock up tonight and feel more prepared.
I'm hoping to pick this up quickly, and maybe decide on my first week meal plan to make it easier.0 -

Mildredd – Never mind the snide comments, that’s terrible everyone is supposed to support you not judge, it took a girl in my group 15 months to lose the 7lb she needed to get to target but she finally done it last night, & one judged her at all!
In a Spin – Sorry to hear your are having a carp time
Gally Girl – Well done on SOTM :T
Shala – thanks for letting me join the challenge, I shall be on plan as much as possible so hopefully will get me my 7lb loss
Hi All
Well I lost another 1.5 last night at WI, taking my total to 9.5lbs & down into the next stone bracket. :jI am happy with that, I am not a big loser anyway.
I had Mexican bake for dinner last night & I made alovely dessert after class as a treat, just a wee hot choc sachet mixed in with a fat free greek yoghurt & loads of strawberries, it was lovely, like a chocolate mousse!!! (I am really not a chocolate or pudding fiend but suspect when * week is due I crave it more???)
Yesterday should have been a green day but didn’t get dinner until 8pm & could not possibly have ate any more HEX’s after dinner!!
Todays EE Menu:-
B – Melon, pineapple, blackberries, strawberries, kiwi & FF Nat yoghurt
L – Chicken with LTL mayo (0.5) lettuce, peppers, beetroot, cucumber, salad dressing (1 syn), melon, pineapple, blackberries, strawberries & Muller Cheesecake yoghurt (1)
D – Spag bol & side of Veg
Drink so far – 2 x coffees (1), green tea, 750ml water
Have a good day everyone x:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

Welcome Michele.. it may have been metioned to you in class but if you're vegetarian then Green days may work better than EE, then you could still have your cereal as you'd have 2 x Heb's and Hea's..Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Challenge 6lbs please
0.5lb off this week which was a bit disappointing bearing in mind going to the gym and eating was fine. (Also total 13.5lb since 31/12/13 so irritated that I didn't get the 1stone this week!!).
Does anyone else find that going to the gym etc slows down their weightloss? I read somewhere that it's extra fluid from muscles repairing that gives a false impression as far as the scales go. I'd be interested in others' experiences.0 -
Hi,
Can I join? Followed this thread a couple of years ago when I lost 3 stone... went backpacking around the world Sept 2012, returned Dec 2013 with all the weight and a little bit extra... started following the thread again and started SW officially on Jan 2nd.
I love the way of eating, and can definitely agree with some of your on here, it's much easier to stick to while at work... Struggling at the moment while I look for a job!
I'll try to pick up names soon (although I don't see avatars either?)
