L: HM roasted veg couscous with falafelHM lasagne with some cream and mozzarella on top (pre diet made, only need to syn the cream and cheese - no idea... will need to look them up in the book)
Tea with my hexa milkApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
So, 1/2lb ON for me but got Slimmer of the Month with a total loss of 5lbs - which shows what a stunningly successful group we are
.
Menu planned for all of March and want to win it properly this time (i.e. not on a week I've gained). Aw who cares, I got a shiny sticker and fridge magnet :rotfl:. :rotfl:

Hi Shala, Put me down for 7lbs for the challenge please. WI on Tuesdays.
I'd like it to be more, but even that may be over hopeful. I've a few things on in March (not as many as macpep) and I'm off on holibags with the family the first week in April, self catering in Galloway. The 6 adults each take a turn at cooking the evening meal, preparing lunch & breakfasts, and we usually have one meal out. We really need to train the weans for that other night, but as they are 2 x 5 yo boys and 1 x 2yo girl, that may be a bit ambitious yet.
Review of Monday's plan
Breakfast: scrambled egg & smoked salmon (don't want it to go to waste ), hexb toast (1 slice), clementine
Lunch: tuna jacket XL mayo (1 syn) ff yogurt , mixed salad, banana
Dinner: SW spag bol, hexa parmesan, 1 slice hexb bread - had hexa glass of milk and counting parmesan as 1.5 syns
Snacks: SF caramel treat (4.5), apple, 1 slice toast (3) butter (3.5)
Total: 13.5 syns
Tuesday's plan (family dinner night)
Breakfast: 35g hexb fruit 'n'fibre with some hexa milk, banana & strawberries
Lunch: chicken & couscous salad (chickpeas, red onion, cherry toms), ff yogurt
Dinner:SW sweet & sour pork (2 syns), boiled rice, fruit salad & ff natural yogurt
Fingers crossed for WI tomorrow.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Truthfully I think I needed the binge?
Feel like since getting ill I've been messing around a bit having little snacks and snaffles most nights and pushing the syns x have had a binge and its cleared my head for now I feel a lot more focused and back on it xxx
Even if I wobble again this week (and I do have a meal out on Sunday) I'm just going to think to myself in 6months I've gained a total of 2 1/2lbs that's it some people gain that in a week so in the scheme of things regardless of some people at my groups snide comments and blatent !!!!!yness towards me in your face. Its not a lot and I can deal with that...
Tomorrow is a new dayStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Hi,
Can I join? Followed this thread a couple of years ago when I lost 3 stone... went backpacking around the world Sept 2012, returned Dec 2013 with all the weight and a little bit extra... started following the thread again and started SW officially on Jan 2nd.
I love the way of eating, and can definitely agree with some of your on here, it's much easier to stick to while at work... Struggling at the moment while I look for a job!
I'll try to pick up names soon (although I don't see avatars either?)
Started off really well until the last week... rubbish valentines day, i don't think my boyfriend will ever learn how to surprise me or be romantic... followed by a friend coming home and going out for tea and cake, and then a few days of feeling under the weather since fri... didn't go off the rails in terms of choccies, just too many Healthy Extras... cheese and wholemeal bread! So still lots of fibre!!
Anyway it will be nice to chat on here, as I'm doing it alone.
I generally follow green/red, so don't need to stick to 1/3 SF...
Today's food was:
B- 4 slice weight watchers wholemeal bread, 2 x HEB, 2 tblsp lemon curd (4).
snack - bowl of fruit
L-Pasta n sauce (dont often have these, but got in late after market shopping... ) plus friend onion, pepper, spinach, tomatoes.
D-Veggie stir fry, rice&noodles.
slice orange and almond cake (3.5) - amazing.... from slimmingeats.com
Options hot choc (2)
Tues plan-
b-fruit, Ff natural yog
l- L/O Stir fry
d-carrot and coriander soup, sandwich (HEB HEA) - off out to the theatre but leaving my hous at 4.30 - soup before we leave, sandwich on the train an hour or so later...
syns - 9.5 maltesers at theatre.
Usually have full 15 syns but trying to cut down next few days to make up for bad weekend...
Would love to join the challenge too... could you put me down for 10lbs off please Shala

Well done Gally girl on your Slimmer of the Month – I got that once and was all biz about it J :j
Great attitude Mildredd! :T And yes sometimes you do just need a binge! Ignore the snide comments etc – you are doing absolutely amazingly well. Sometimes I think people just want you to fail, people in my work are talking about if I’m going to put it all back on again!!! People can’t just be happy for you sometimes!
Welcome Bliss! Join in the madness
HelenDaveKids – Fab loss! Well done ! and good to see your still getting the Body Magic in. :T
Maman / Frogga – Thanks for that code J Think I should go and get myself measured to see exactly what size I am………………
Well done on your loss Sary! I often find when I get a 0.5 off its followed by a bigger loss the next week!! My boobies fight with everything too lol!! They are hard to restrain at times lol. Did you go searching for the curly wurly’s?? lol:rotfl:
Hex2 – Well done !!
Good luck for getting that 2 stone award Mrs Ryan!!
Shala – I’ve worn black to two weddings and I wasn’t the only one and they were both summer weddings! I think that dress looks really nice and could easily be dressed up. Its good to get out there and try on different styles and get out of your comfort zone as such - that’s how I discovered I suited panel / pencil dresses – on a total whim! You’ll find something you really like – just keep looking.
I’ve going to have to buy Size 12 trousers within the next two weeks L or it won’t only be my bucket knickers that are round my ankles lol!! I can’t actually believe that I am buying a Size 12 trouser! I’ve never been a 12 as an adult!! My top half is nowhere nearing a size 12 though yet due to these boobs!!!!!!
Went to Kettle bells last night and it wasn’t half as crazy a class as the first one as it was a different instructor – only very slightly sore today. Had such a good nights sleep though last night after it J Booked myself in for the crazy class again on Friday lol.
Can't wait to start the new challenge! Love to see all of our losses in the chart. Thanks again Shala xx
2b have you defected?? lol xx0 -
It's leftovers today so going for yet another EE day:
B - mushroom omlette
L - ham salad sandwich with LTL mayo instead of spread
D - pork curry & rice (curry will have leftover pork & veg in, will probably bulk it out with some lentils so that I get a couple of portions to put in the freezer for later in the month.
HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB - bread (sandwich at lunchtime)
Syns - mayo 0.5; pink & white 2.5; fruit split lolly 3 = 6 syns

Hi All
Sorry I have not posted since Thursday, had a major meltdown on Friday. Not good news from the physio, I have been overdoing the exercise and could hardly move. Been told I need to give it time (already been over 6 months) my body has to re-learn how to walk/balance. At the moment I need to lose weight to exercise, not exercise to lose weight.
Then to cap it all woke up with a cold on Saturday.
Sorry rant over just had to get it off my chest.
EE today
B: Cereal with hexa milk, cup of tea
L: Tin of WW Chicken Soup, Apple and MLGrilled Steak, jacket potato and either veg or salad
Snacks: Banana + ML, Fanta Zero
Not decided on other syns yet.0
