Mildredd, I just want to give you a big squeeze, but I won't cos I might pop your stitches
can you change groups at all? Your one don't sound particularly nice anytime you've told us about them!
I've definitely struggled from January, I've lost and put on the same 3-4lb every month. I've only lost 5lb this yearbut I still keep trying because if I stop then it'll pile on, my point, you're not alone EVER on here whether you're doing well or eating pizza, there's always someone else doing it and although it's not like real life I hope sometimes that we help:kisses3:
Oh and who said you can't have fruit for afters or before? As long as your 1/3 is in the same day then I don't see a problem and I think you've proved it doesn't matter with all the weight you've lost soto them!
You do what you need to this next four weeks, but don't put pressure on yourself. Have a healthy day rather than a SW day and see if that brings your confidence in the plan back...
Have to go to work now but will check back later xxMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
I'm meant to weigh today so I'm sat here thinking about what excuse I can use rather than bite the bullet and weigh and see what another week of not sticking to plan means.
I don't know why I am being so destructive at the moment. Its such a waste of time and effort.
I have no lunch planned so really I just want to go back to bed and hide.
I was meant to plan a menu this weekend but it didn't happen. I am so annoyed with myself.0 -
Morning everyone
Feel like I'm dying! Have an upset stomach, I think it's down to the sudden surge in SF. I seem to recall this happening last time
I started SW so I'll bear with it. Couldn't face breakfast this morning though so I've brought a ML and some fruit to work. Made SW quiche with roasted veg last night ( thankyou to whoever posted that a week or so ago, it stuck in my mind). Also the biggest veg curry I've ever seen. Which was really tasty but confirmed to me that I need meat!
I'm so up and down with motivation. I've been overweight my whole life, I have no idea what I look like slim. I crashed off the SW wagon last year after a miscarriage (unexpected but very welcome pregnancy) and it's taken me this long to decide AGAIN to sort myself out. Not just say I'm going to,
But actually decide on it. I really want to be a healthy weight before trying for a baby next year. That's the plan, anyway!
Sorry for withering on! Hope everyone has a good day0 -
Good morning all
Today's plan:
B: oats (HeB) with 100g low fat Natural yogurt (1syn) warmed up slightly, banana stirred through
L: jacket potato, baked beans, salad, melon chunks, apple
T: hmm I'm cooking... can't decide between free chile with salad and rice or salmon with salad and stuffed mushrooms or maybe something like stroganoff with rice and salad (synned as appropriate obviously) probably some fruit salad and natural yogurt if I fancy a dessert or perhaps some choc depending on syns
HeA: milk
HeB oats
syns: 1 from breakfast and any in dinner plus possible dessert
Off to the parents today, rather excited as I will stay on track and will be introducing mum properly to SW eating plans at last and feeding it all to older brother (always wants to lose weight, succeeds a bit then gives up and doesn't think he would get on with SW) in secret hehe then announcing it at the end of the week
Before that though I have baby clinic with the bairn and a market trip so will be stocking up on loads of fruit and veg and bits like thatI see people talking about a new muller light, cappuccino is it? are they free? also do they still do a mint one?I know at one stage quite a few flavours had to be synned is that still the case or are most free now?
Also can anyone tell me the syns in creme fraiche/ reduced fat creme fraiche on EE? Thank you
Hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday************************************

Morning everyone
Last night's Indian meal was gorgeous and we had loads of fun. But I spent most of the night in the loo  - sorry if TMI. Thinking it was more a mix of the heavy, spicy meal hitting my stomach along with all the fruit and veg I've been eating than anything wrong with dinner itself. The boys are fine.
So sitting here at work feeling tired and really sorry for myself. I'd have taken the day off but we have a big presentation to do this afternoon and its all hands to the decks. Positive is I've weigh in tonight so the weekend damage may not show as bad as it was!!
Didn't even bring lunch with me, just three bottles of water!
Away for a quick catch up. Hope you're all well x0 -
Morning all.
I was very excited about WI this morning as I've had a good week, with syns left in the 'bank' and (drum roll here) I had STS! So I'm joining the devastated club too. I rechecked all my menus (I have them written down as well as posted here) and did discover a little miscalculation, but I still had 17.5 syns left for the week.
However, I'm determined not to waste all last week's efforts and I'm going to stick with the plan, in case there should be a delayed reaction like I often have when I have gone over the score and it doesn't show up until the following week. Still very disappointing though
So, Tuesday's Menu -
Breakfast: bacon, egg, tomatoes, hexb toast
Lunch: hm lentil soup
Dinner: SW campfire stew with mashed potatoes (1 syn), fruit salad
Total so far: 1
Bank Balance: 104
Hang on in there everyone, especially you, Mildredd - you've been an inspiration.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

I missed this earlier...
I love to look at other people's successes too, which is why i always buy the magazine. You can see them on the SW website too..
If i'm really struggling i have a pepsi max as a treat (i gave it up a while back), go to bed or just sit and sulk :rotfl:
Sorry that lots of you are feeling "meh".. I don't really have any motivation for you except just try and plan one day and complete it.. it will make you feel like you have accomplished something and may lead on to you being on plan the next day, then the next day and before you know it you'll have been a week on-plan.
Greentiger - sorry to hear you've STS but great attitude.. keep on keeping on! :T
Topgirl - hope today has been as ok as it can be, we're all thinking of you xMortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Sorry to hear you're suffering jellybaby, but maybe it'll be an ill wind!;)
Crème fraiche is 2 syns per tbsp. for full fat and 1.5 for low fat lush. Have a good time with parents and hope there'll be loads of offers of babymindng while you do the cooking.
Shame about the STS tiger but it's not just syns that can stop SW working properly. I'd also say that weightloss isn't just a regular, linear pattern for everyone. It certainly wasn't for me. I've often shown my record book to people at group where I lurched from largeish losses to STS regularly. Generally, the best advice is keep plodding and everything will catch up with you in the end whether it's a good patch or a bad patch.
FE, my weekly meal plan is very basic and takes no more than a few minutes. I just buy in ingredients for breakfasts (cereal, porage, eggs, beans, bread) and similar for lunches (I have things on toast, soup, JPs, omelettes/frittata or LOs from night before) and then I write down 7 suppers, some easy HM meals from freezer and others that take a bit more time like casseroles, roasts or sausage and mash type things. I know it's not quite that easy for you as you have to take lunch with you but doing it this way really does take the worry out of it.
Today I've had beans with HEB toast for my breakfast. I've got some meat and fried veg for lunch. Then it's off to the pub where I'm going to make wise choices (at least of the food:o).0 -
Hi All,
I promised I would be back to catch up more often. I weighed in last Thurs with a 4lb holiday gain! I've been back on plan like a trouper and synned everything I've eaten, but then the dreaded * week has joined me. Really hoping for a good loss this Thurs.
I'm still training my replacement so I've not had a chance to read through everyones posts but I really hope you are all doing well.

Thanks, Shala & Maman. It's good to know people are watching over us - our "SW angels" :A . I think that's what keeps me going - I've said before I hate having to confess my indiscretions (although I always have); I feel I'm letting you lot down too. You all send so much positive, but realistic, encouragement. You know and show it's not always plain sailing.
I like how SW allows me to indulge myself occasionally, I like the way that the menus I plan are suitable for the whole family and I like how the SW approach (it's not a regime) is educating me to make wiser eating choices. That's what it's all about - choice. I can choose what I eat, when I eat it. I can choose to stick with the plan or choose to make a change or choose ignore it. I can choose to work towards losing weight or choose to remain overweight. I can choose to become a healthier person or I can choose to miss out on a whole lot of opportunities.
BTW, I can add 3 syns to today's menu - I had butter on my toast.
Also forgot to say we'd be having green beans with dinner tonight.
So 'Syns Bank' is now 101.
Off to put lentil soup in pressure cooker so it's ready for lunch - no excusesSewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400
