Appeal to ANPR Ltd from an overstay in Swansea Parc Tawe

I thought this was ANPR Ltd but in several places now you have called them 'ANPR PC' which is a completely different firm with a similar name. Which is it?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It's actually a bit of both. Their full title in ANPR Parking Control Ltd, and they have signed the appeals email as ANPR PC Ltd (anprparkingcontrol.co.uk).
I do realise that such a subtle change in a Limited company name can mean completely different companies, but I didn't realise there were two separate companies using ANPR until after I have actually sent some letters. Coupled with the fact that I have dyslexia, I think I have also referred to them as ANRP, and APNR.0 -

.
it is not a bit of both ANPR PC is not ANPR limited - THIS was pointed out to you on page one of this thread and indeed the title mislead me at first - very correctly pointed out by eagle - eyed Bazster.
ANPR PC are indeed dreadful though and we have had evidence that they pass over to debt collectors even when appeals and parking charges have been cancelled.0 -
The good thing is that ANPR PC have cancelled it then, as the DVLA state:
Dear Mr X,
I am writing on behalf of my colleague XXXX who is currently on leave.
This matter has been raised with the British Parking Association for investigation as they have seen this as potentially a very serious breach of their code of practice.
ANPR PC have provided a response stating that they cannot find a record of the original appeal received from yourself which has resulted in the further correspondence. ANPR PC have confirmed that the notice has now been cancelled and have been trying to identify why this issue has occurred.
From this it appears that both ANPR PC and the BPA have taken this matter seriously and want to resolve this issue. This seems to have been the first time that the DVLA has been made aware of this problem so will not be taking any further action at this time but we will record this incident and monitor the situation in case it should ever arise again.
If however you wish to raise this issue further with the BPA, they can be contacted on AOS@britishparking.co.uk and using the reference BPA-XXXXX BPA:XXXXX
I regret that the DVLA can be of no further assistance at this time.
Kind regards

Many thanks for pointing this out to me again. What I meant by my comment is that it isn't actually 'ANPR Ltd', or even 'ANPR PC', but rather 'ANPR PC Ltd' (hence a bit of both). My problem is that I can read the same thing 10 times and come up with 10 different interpretations - especially acronyms. It not your problem, but mine, and I do all I can to mitigate the issues, however, I am still prone to making both reading and writing mistakes.0 -

Indeed, however, the last paragraph where they say:
Makes it feel like a hollow victory. The further feedback I received from the DVLA (when I pushed about the breach of KADOE contract), makes it look like I showed no evidence that this was breached. As I'm no expert in this area, I don't know what else I can do to show this?I regret that the DVLA can be of no further assistance at this time.0 -
TBH I would leave that bit, as you will be banging your head against a brick wall. The DVLA are very good at putting their fingers in their ears and singing la, la, la, la, if they hear criticism of their cosy arrangements with the BPA and their members.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Hi
Have you had any further letters from DRP?
I have a similar situation and DRP are still pursuing me despite very strong circumstances. Any advice welcome.
Sorry for lack of info but sceptical incase they are reviewing the message boards!!
Thanks0 -
#1 This isn't your thread. Hijacking a thread is frowned upon here.
#2 Read the NEWBIES thread ... DRP are well covered in there.
We don't need any more threads about DRP, Zenith, etc.0 -
Sorry, thanks for the etiquette tip for a newbie!
Was there any further letters from DRP? Which is relevant on this thread.
Thanks0
