Just checked my cc order from the other day. I elected to collect from store, it just states 'order placed 19th February'
I made 2 orders.... One, for vouchers, is apparently ready to collect, the other, for clothes, has not been updated
Although looking online both still just say 'order placed.....'0 -

Basically my current one is nearly 20 years old. It is not really failing yet but it is pretty old for a freezer. It is 9.1 cubic feet so I would need at least 225 litres, and I would prefer an upright. I really do not care what it looks like, it is shut away in the study so shop soiled or damaged is not a problem, but I would like a year's warranty at least with it.
I have been trying to find auction sites that do this sort of thing without success, so I thought it would ask the collective wisdom of the Elite
Do you have a branch of John Lewis nearby? Ours often has managers specials on white goods if you ask. They tend to be things that have been returned (unused) because the customer changed their mind, wrong model was delivered, rejected because there was a tiny dent etc. We got a great bargain on a washing machine this way and you still get all the usual John Lewis guarantees.0 -

TrulyMadly can you point me in the direction of the MOC, these are great for the food bank, thankyouI, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Hi everyone Ive done something weird to my hand.
Going into Superdrug the door is a pull out one rather than a push door and for some reason I got it the wrong way around and I seemed to have pushed backwards on my hand and the tendon that goes from the index finger back along the hand towards the wrist was twisted or strained or something.
Its like an electric shock having through my hand if I try to open a door or open my hand wide or make a fist or do a pinch movement between the index and thumb. But using the index finger to click on the mouse or on the keyboard is tolerable.
Has anyone else had this?
OH has put some ibufren gel on my hand so I cant take a pain killer but anyway the pain is the way my hand is telling me its a movement I should not be doing.
Not sure wether I should put ice on it or a hot wheat bag.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Claire, if you google DPC watchdog violation it is a known issue. It can be cause by a few things, hardware that is not compatible being one. Sorry, computer knowledge does not allow me the brain power to help you any more than that.
If you are still stuck, the computer section of MSE is very helpful. Hope you sort it. (I hate Windows 8!)“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
