Well, I think spring must be coming. I refreshed my strawberry planter this morning and planted some new root balls in it, then I came in and thought I would quickly clean the kitchen floor. Two hours later, I pulled out the fridge and washing machine, had a good clean under there, then I had to do something while the floor dried under there so I ended up cleaning the cupboard doors too. Strange how things progress like that, but I now have a clean kitchen and the distinct impression that I seem to be spring cleaning

Apologies for the poor photo.
Whitworths reduced to 40p and salted caramels down to 20p. Probably store specific but worth keeping an eye out for. 2 trolllies full of raisins and things like dried apples and cranberries were wheeled out while I was there. All breakfast topper things but fine for baking too.To do is to be. Rousseau

Does anyone on here know where to get a freezer, preferably not second hand, cheap? I was trying to get a shop soiled & damaged on on Ebay but it went above what I wanted to pay for it.
Basically my current one is nearly 20 years old. It is not really failing yet but it is pretty old for a freezer. It is 9.1 cubic feet so I would need at least 225 litres, and I would prefer an upright. I really do not care what it looks like, it is shut away in the study so shop soiled or damaged is not a problem, but I would like a year's warranty at least with it.
I have been trying to find auction sites that do this sort of thing without success, so I thought it would ask the collective wisdom of the EliteWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
