Does anyone on here know where to get a freezer, preferably not second hand, cheap? I was trying to get a shop soiled & damaged on on Ebay but it went above what I wanted to pay for it.

Basically my current one is nearly 20 years old. It is not really failing yet but it is pretty old for a freezer. It is 9.1 cubic feet so I would need at least 225 litres, and I would prefer an upright. I really do not care what it looks like, it is shut away in the study so shop soiled or damaged is not a problem, but I would like a year's warranty at least with it.

I have been trying to find auction sites that do this sort of thing without success, so I thought it would ask the collective wisdom of the Elite :D

Sorry can't help E......but just wondering if this is for the impending pizza avalanche:rotfl:

Sorry I have no idea... I strongly recommend you do not get an American one as the storage space is terribly small x

    Hello everyone

I've been lurking for a while now and decided to put my head around the door and say hello.

I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who finds the glitches as they are a great help to me at the moment :T. I gave up a job I hated last year to start my own business and have been living off my savings since then so I have to be very careful with money. I managed some 1p goodies and was able to donate some to my mum's church too and am getting my head around the pp now. I don't have an A near me so it's all T shops for me.

I have an OH, two DS's of my own and a step DS too so 5 of us to feed.

I've been out and done a burger/muller shop earlier today, I also needed some Philly which compared to M too so a pp of £9.98 back from a £17.85 spend :j.

I enjoy keeping up with all your goings on as and when my business allows and hopefully I might be able to contribute too :)

    Hello blackbeltgirl

  • Cookie - just had a quick glance back. Surely what you need to do while you are waiting for your scan is get yourself as fit as you can, this does not mean totally abstaining but does mean severely cutting back on the drink.

My mother was born in a pub, my parents used to like "a drink". My mother was quite a heavy drinker, on Christmas my dad and her used to be drunk by 10 in the morning. She would always tell her friends she was proud of the fact that she could get drunk then cook Christmas dinner. She didn't - I did from when I was about 10, it was the only way it was going to get done. But when she was diagnosed with cancer my mum started drinking very heavily, so heavily that it probably contributed to the fact her body could not fight the pneumonia that finally took her.

As a result I barely drink, I have a couple of glasses of wine with Sunday lunch and that is it. Neither do I smoke (she was a chain smoker until a week before she died).

Look after yourself and your body has more chance of looking after you.

I have been working on clearing out space for that, have enough for a few :D

I have a little more confidence that my vouchers will be accepted this time. Following my complaint to Dr O about them not being accepted all my vouchers have been mailed to me on proper Smart Coupon paper :D:D

I've bought freezers from curries online and appliances online (ao) they do sometimes have or did have some good deals.
I got my last upright from ao, free delivery.

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
