I am on this forum and read most of the pages but then when I go to quote or post it always makes me log back in again
does this happen to everyone ?
or just to people who don't post often but read all ......
not that I can remember all I have read :)

    Only on my kindle.
I agree far 2 much in 2 weeks but as i said before am still waiting for a scan as they found another shadow in my lung and i'm now thinking positive but at the time i was really worried and just got drunk every day.
I got up this morning after dring a few cans last night and am now making lunch and will not be drinking tonight or in the next couple of weeks when i have a party to go to.

I know you have been in a dark place Cookie due to another shadow showing up. Hope all goes well there, but did your alcohol intake increase after getting told about what was found.
Just wondered if due to health issues you have been drinking more
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

I know what you are saying cookie. These are the government guidelines. However I will say that although I love having a couple of glasses of white, I can feel quite ropey the following day....and this has worsened as I have grown older. Think it's good to give your liver a rest and allow it to repair itself.

I agree with you about giving your liver a rest. Although i was very surprised a couple of years ago when the first shadow was found in my lung and after all the tests it was TB but i got a liver scan and i asked the lady doing it how things looked. (it's similar to a scan when your pregnant gel and all that) and she told me that my liver was normal for my age. So it just shows how different everyone body deals with things as when i was younger with no family i was out drinking every night.

Yes definetly as i assumed the worst and thought not again is it cancer this time and i just wen't off the rails. Now i realise that drink cannot help and will only make things worse as there is nothing that drink can fix whereas i know the answer is with the doctors. Still have anger towards the nhs for the lenght of time they are taking to get me in for a scan as they know about my past and they have me on the list as urgent and that will be a month now from my xray and my bloods are still showing abnormal.

    Afternoon all....

Hugs to you Snap, and your Dear friend and the family hoping for good news.

Was thinking of doing a bit of gardening this afternoon as forcast said a reasonable temperature, but the wind is sure taking the edge off that and the sun doesn't look like coming out even though I thought it might..... I may go out for a few mins to pot up some more rhubarb plants that I need to do soon, but I don't think i'll last long.

Did a C&C test shop this morning and collected at 10.30 but no sign of results as yet. :( Also picked up a couple of wombles dated yesterday, one had a 20p return that i'm not gonna bother with, but I went through everything for all stores and picked out the only useful stuff I could find......

This is the pic took years ago of the same thing

It is actually a rotten strainer post and I believe the bits that go towards the outside are the inner workings of the outside branches.

Can you guess how these were created?
