I PM'd you before you posted, explaining how to take this to court.
You won't need a solicitor, and it's easy to do yourself. Start a new thread mentioning you need help with court paperwork (and fee remissions), and either myself or someone else will be able to help by PM/email.

i have contacted the police/went into the station and they will not touch it as they say it is a civil case, even trading standards will not help any further, i will write a letter and send it recorded tomorrow and will get back to you, thanks kindly0
