Just went a bit mad at lunch time and bought a load of new stuff for my hospital bag (just cheap Primark so can chuck away if it gets ruined!)...I got pjs, dressing gown, fluffy socks, big pants and some slippers. So now I just need to get the toiletries and my bag will be done. Will sort the baby bag in a few weeks! I'm hoping to have a pool birth so bought a maternity tankini in the ASOS sale too.
OHs cousin's wife is due their wee boy at the end of October and I just had a text from MIL to say she's in labour! My friend who was due last weekend is now feeling hard done to as she's fed up waiting! She had a sweep yesterday so is hoping things kick off soon!0 -
I have no idea where the last 2 weeks have gone, the days are just flying by!
Noticing little changes in baby now, pretty sure he's grown a little bit too. We still haven't tried the washable nappies, we're going through so many just now I don't think I'd manage to keep us with the washing! Maybe in a couple of weeks when there's less poop we'll give them a try.
I hope everyone is well?0 -
Glad all is going well beckyy, what did you call your little one in the end?
I can't believe my little one is 6 weeks tomorrow, it's gone so fast. He is getting so big now, when he was weighed last Tuesday he was almost 3lb heavier than his birth weight!! He is also getting so alert now and really starting to take things in.
As he is 6 weeks tomorrow I am going to start driving again this week!! I decided to take the midwife advice and not drive for the full 6 weeks but it will be nice driving again.0 -
Hello everyone,
It's finally time for me to join the Big Thread. I was 24 weeks on Friday, but have only just had a chance to pop on here to post. This is my third pregnancy (I have a 4-year-old DS, last year we sadly lost my daughter on November 8th due to an encephalocele which was diagnosed at the 12 week scan) and we have been told that this is another boy. Due to my previous loss, this has been a very difficult and anxiety-filled pregnancy, and with the anniversary of Poppy's death just around the corner, a very emotional one too. Our EDD is 10th February 2017.
Is there a list that we add to for due dates etc? I've scrolled back a few pages, but the one on the first post is a couple of years old, and the newer ones I've seen, seem to just have the top 10.

Welcome Sexymouse. It's a smallish group here but every time I've moved up a thread I've found it gets busier after a while as there seem to be more behind than in front of me.
I'm 35 weeks tomorrow and feeling like I've hit a wall since 33/34 weeks and can't do much. I have aches and pains, can't walk much or do much around the house. Thankfully I started maternity leave at 34 weeks so now making progress on baby preparation. Bought lots of things and just got loads of my daughters stuff down from the loft to sort out and wash this week. I need to get my hospital bag packed soon as I went into labour at 38 weeks exactly last time and I want to be prepared in case this one is earlier. So hopefully this week will be a productive one.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Hello everyone, I don't think I've posted in this thread but I have posted in some of the earlier ones.
I'm 38+5 now, first baby. EDD is 02/11/16. Have had a difficult pregnancy due to severe hyperemesis, am still nauseous now but it's manageable.
Baby seems pretty comfy under my ribs, but I'm actually not too uncomfortable so am ok with baby staying in there a bit longer so I can get the house sorted.
Hope everyone is well.Current debt: M&S £0(£2K) , Tesco £0 (£1.5K), Car loan 6K (paid off!) Barclaycard £1.5K (interest free for 18 months)0 -

Changing so quickly.
Fred's 3 1/2 weeks. He was weighed again today and he's now up to 7 lb, from a low of 5lb 2 at day 5.
So he is averaging at least an ounce a day gain.
OH still persevering with breastfeeding. She definitely has more milk and he's still latching on and sucking for long periods throughout the day. But he still comes off hungry from most feeds, so not sure how much he's actually managing to get out.
She was given antibiotics as she's still bleeding and the blood is starting to smell. Told to keep an eye on that as it would be a sign of infection, if it hasn't stopped by the time she goes for 6 week checkup then she'll be sent for an ultrasound.
He's lovely, but he turns into a monster at night! Impossible to appease and intent on devouring our sleep!Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
Savings target June 18 - £22,281.99 / £25,0000 -
Glad to hear all is going well Freddie. Our little one was weighed today and is 11lb4oz at 6 weeks, he is doing great.
Hope he starts to get better at night time, our little one has good nights and not so good nights, but luckily there are now more good nights than bad!!!0
